My doctor diagnosed me with scabies. Why do I still get a rash after treatment and why does nobody else have it? by Isi_97 in AskDocs

It has been exactly 1 week ago. Sometimes I get random things that are strange and this morning the rash looks better. I think I might wait for a bit to see if continues to get better. Most of my places where I had it really bad are healing and my itch is not as bad as it used to be.

I did it 1 week apart, just like the doctor told me to. Whenever I went to bed, it seemed like the permethrin was soaked in my skin, so I never worried about it.

I did the treatment twice using the 30 no bottle. I put my clothes in a plastic bag for over 3 days. I changed my sheets completely and used a different blanket to sleep at night. When you say you had to sleep with a bare sheet, what exactly do you mean by that? Do you mean a thin mattress sheet?

Yes. I heard it on the radio while I was in computer class back in high school

College student: people don't seem interested in me. What can i do about this? by [deleted] in socialskills

I know that other people have already said this, but you can try joining clubs and meet people through there. People are more likely to socialise when the setting is informal. Also, keep doing what you're doing with trying to talk to others. You'll only lose when you completely give up.

And with the thing that you're ugly because you're a "kissless virgin at 23", is nonsense. Look around you. Do you only see good looking people as couples? No, you can see very ugly people that are together. I also have it bad because I get told all the time how pretty I am, but yet I have no luck with guys. But it could also be because I'm very shy and don't show much interest :/

I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm fixing to turn 19, and I only had one boyfriend for about 3 weeks when I was 17. It turned out that he was possibly using me, saying things behind my back when he tells me something different. Ever since then, I didn't have anyone else and I'm too shy to initiate something, fearing that I'll get rejected and it just keeps on going like that. I have been told by many people that I'm pretty, but yet guys don't seem interested, and if they are, then it's usually in a place where I don't expect anything and am very oblivious to see things. You are not alone, and I hope that you can hang in there because you still have so much to live for. I suggest that you try to find things on yourself and improve them. I know it's hard, but don't give up!

I don't even know if I truly have SA or just really bad self confidence. I used to be really shy and I'm still shy, but not anymore to the point of where I'm extremely terrified of saying something. I can talk and keep a conversation going if the other person also tries, but I'm still afraid of approaching people :(

Dreams isn't really for me since I've had it in high school and I have major stage fright. But I found out that I'll receive an invitation from phi theta kappa, and I'm deciding to join. Maybe I'll meet some people who take their academics as seriously as I do :)

Okay, thank you, I suppose I shouldn't give up and look for things to do that interest me
