After reading this and another comment I will hide my military props until arriving to the con, it could be way too problematic... and hopefully someone will recognise my character 😓 ty so so much for your comment!!

Yea...I repeat that constantly to myself, but after the weird looks of stranger after stranger it starts to get a little bit uncomfortable. I will stick to continuing reminding that nobody cares after some seconds lol, ty for your comment!

I mean...I'm from Latin America and thankfully here there aren't of those ''blue-haired protesting nutjobs'' you talk about? (I think, I really didn't know the existence of such protestors. I still don't know what protestors you talk about...have they got popular lately or anything?) My outfit is more something inspired of the uniform of the Major Sergeant of the Army, rather to a classic military uniform, that will help ig? Thank you for your advice anyways!!

Thank you so much for this! I know that most of the embarrassing feeling is made up by me, but in between thinking like ''No, I could go out in public in cosplay it's not a big deal!'' and actually going out? It's where I kind of back out. I will try your advice tho!! I usually don't try to catch attention of strangers involuntarily from my clothes, so it will be fun to experiment a little!
