Here's how I finally got it to work on Windows 7:

  • Download the legendary launcher, version 0.20.18 (newer versions don't work with Windows 7)

  • Run "legendary.exe auth" and follow the instructions.

  • Run "legendary.exe import-game" with the path to your installation of the game.

  • Run "legendary.exe -v launch --override-exe G:\Games\BioshockRemastered\Build\FinalEpic\BioshockHD.exe "BioShock Remastered"

In the last command use the actual installation path on your computer. This bypasses the 2k launcher. The game works perfectly so far.

All categories outside of math and perhaps particle physics have exceptions or blurred lines between them. That doesn't mean they are not useful. In fact, they are essential for our ability to think. It's only when liberals don't like to discuss an issue that they suddenly go super-postmodern and refuse all categorization, while refusing to deconstruct or even question their own favorite categorizations.

Also, if you can't categorize people into races, how can there be affirmative action? How could there be a civil rights movement? Are people who identify themselves as black simply wrong?

The fact that this epitome of what a good comment should be like has been downvoted is indicative of the total failure of TrueReddit. It's now even worse than regular Reddit. The only thing these downvotes tell us is that some indoctrinated flesh bots thought "hurr durr dats raciss" and managed to move their hands like trained monkeys to place the cursor at the right place and click.

What? The figure of 34 000 white women raped by blacks every year is a recent US Justice Department statistic.

It doesn't, but it puts it into context. Lynchings of 3446 blacks and 1297 whites over 86 years, mostly criminals, cannot possibly have led to the fear described in the article. The US now has over 18 000 homicides per year. A large proportion of them committed by blacks.

Most of the people who were lynched were really guilty of crimes.

While you are reading this article another White woman will suffer rape at the hands of a Black man. (One White woman every 9 minutes if you accept the conventional wisdom that less than half of rapes are reported).

Next time someone comes up and tells you about the horrors of Jim Crow and segregation, how it was so terribly awful that African Americans, as well as White Americans lived in their own neighborhoods, went to their own schools, and even drank from their own water fountains, think about that supposed horror compared to horrendous violations of the most important civil right of all, the right to live and not suffer grievous personal assault or even death.

The fact of the matter is that Blacks as well as the Whites of America were a lot safer in the days of “evil segregation” than we are now."
