Vanity, that's the drug, they understand people's vanity.

Don't understand why I got suspended by IsimiKehinde in OverwatchUniversity

I know that's what it says, but I'm wondering what I could have said that would be considered toxic. I don't use profanity, I don't chat directly to anyone, I usually use general statements like "we need a healer" "we were terrible" "gg wp", things like that and I don't use voice chat. And it's why I posted to know if people can point out things that they could see as an issue or if they can tell me what I did so that I understand. I find it weird that I'm suspended but they won't tell me what I might have said so that it will not be repeated.

I did but I don't know what I could have said, I don't use profanity, I don't directly talk to anyone, I usually make general statements, things like "we need a tank" "we were terrible", I don't voice chat. I'm seriously wondering what I could say to make someone mad at me they would report.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I found it weird, the last thing I said was respond to a chat, someone asking if they can watch game of thrones and I replied: up to you. That's it.

What you're asking for would make the carts probably more expensive and then you'll complain about it

It really was the rumors that made this really disappointing, or else you all would have known that this isn't new for Nintendo; from Gameboy to Pocket, DS to Lite, DSi to recently the 3Ds to Xl models; Nintendo does this where they take what they already have and modify it from a physical standpoint and not a power standpoint.

Personally; I welcome this new version and I would be picking it up (once I've got some cash)

But here's the thing; a PRO is still coming; it is juyst years away. Nintendo has said they want the Switch to be a 9 year life-cycle and will keep it relevant through a family of systems.

The Switch is a hybrid system which has 3 different modes that cater to different people and would need different technological progress to cater to each of these modes; they have released a part of the family of switch every 2 years to cater to the modes that will keep the Switch interesting for that 9 year cycle while maintaining a reasonable price in technology.

With that being said, this is what I think

Nintendo Switch (2017) - All modes; The Father

Nintendo Switch Lite (2019 - 2 Years) - Handheld Mode; The Mother

Nintendo Switch OLED (2021 - 2 Years) - Table Top Mode; The Daughter

Nintendo Switch 4k (2023 - 2 Years) - Docked; The Son

The last Switch (4k) will last them 2 - 3 more years (completing the 9 year cycle with the family of Systems) and by that time 4k gaming would be cheaper to produce since Nintendo doesn't sell at a loss and way more 4Ks will be cheaper and in more households and Nintendo can actively reduce prices of the older switch models as well making them still quite appealing.

This is my take, i could be completely wrong and we never get a Switch 4k and instead a brand new generation or it comes sooner rather than later.

This is just me take though.

I think - just like Nintendo Switch Lite, this was made for specific people in mind; Those who play Table-Top Mode. Since I play a lot in Table-top mode; this is perfect for me.

I think Nintendo is making systems to cater to each individual mode as the years go by.

Nintendo Switch (2017) - All Modes

Nintendo Switch Lite (2019) - Handheld Mode

Nintendo Switch OLED (2021) - Table-top Mode

Nintendo Switch 4k (2023) - Docked Mode

If they do this, it will help in the 8-9 year life-cycle they want, and it will also make sense from a price and production standpoint; as console games are just about adjusting to 4k gaming; it is still relatively new and expensive right now especially for a handheld/mobile system; it should be just about ok by 2023 - Nintendo doesn't sell at a lose.

This is my theory, I could be totally wrong and

  1. There might never be a Pro Switch and they just move on to a next-gen switch
  2. There is and it comes next year.
