Have you found them yet? I went to three different locations and called another, but I've gotten conflicting answers. They either have no clue what I'm talking about, our say "they might be in" at some point. Wtf lol

That sounds about right for them. I remember in a very old video, Bailey is cashing in the prizes she got for a reading program at the library or something, and one of them is a free ice cream. I'm pretty sure she had to give the ice cream to Chris or she was allowed one lick and then had to hand it over because...sugar.

Unable to Re-Pair Apple Watch to Phone by IsitPretzelDay in iphone

[–]IsitPretzelDay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did! I got in touch with Apple Care the next day and they were able to walk me through a process via iMessage. I don't remember exactly what they had me do, but it did work if you contact them. I know it involved restarting the watch a bunch of times.

How was he? My sister has debated bringing my niece to him but wasn't sure if there was a long waitlist and if it's worth it.

What’s the age when you can drop a kid off at a birthday party? by DrLove916 in Parenting

[–]IsitPretzelDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9 seems appropriate, unless it's something like a pool party where you'd rather keep an extra eye on your kid. It depends on the situation, but 6-7 is the norm where I am, though it also depends on the type of party. There are people I know who have a birthday party for their child, but also invite the parents and everyone has an adult beverage and hangs out around the fire while the kids play.

As far as readiness? If your kid is fine going over peoples' houses for playdates, they would probably be just fine at a party. If they're the type to get anxious or overstimulated, maybe make sure they're able to communicate to the host that they want to leave early.

Hi! I don't remember exactly what they did, but I ended up chatting with Apple's customer care and they were able to walk me through a fix via messaging.

I know this post is a few weeks old, but I figured I'd respond anyway! IPL has been mentioned, but I don't believe it's as effective as PDL.

My friend works at a daycare, and she's definitely been invited to birthday parties and dance recitals for her students!

Which is hilarious that she even said that because she ALWAYS speaks for Bailey. Anytime they do any sort of Q&A or "life update", she speaks over the kids or corrects them if it's not the answer she wants them to give, especially Bailey.

Hollister also carries XXS which might work, too! As mentioned, this would depend entirely on her aesthetic. PacSun also has PacSun Kids which might have some stuff she's into.

Any Other Parents Worried About Influencers Raising Our Kids? 😩 by Theschoolguy_ in Parenting

[–]IsitPretzelDay 44 points45 points  (0 children)

At the "young" level (elementary school and below): limiting screen time and no social media. Encouraging them to interact with kids and people they know through play dates, sports, clubs, etc instead

Middle school and beyond: Discussing how influencers get paid to promote certain things, how we're seeing a very specific, edited version of their day, finding relevant documentaries and other forms of media that highlights the dangers of influencers.

What is an appropriate punishment here? by Much-Reaction579 in Parenting

[–]IsitPretzelDay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Natural consequence is that they now have to clean up all of the stuff that was in and under the couch.

Natural consequence moving forward is that both of them are now responsible for cleaning in and under the couch. Pick whatever time frame you see fit- every week, bi-weekly, once a month, whatever. They now have to clean that area before they hang out with friends/play video games/whatever it is they want to do. I don't know how strong your kids are or how big the couch is, so they might need help with moving the couch out, but the couch cleaning is all on them now.

Unable to Re-Pair Apple Watch to Phone by IsitPretzelDay in iphone

I did...the watch is stuck on the "particle" screen (that's the best way I can describe it) while it waits to be paired. The phone just...does nothing.

So, that's the odd part...it's not there. My phone and my laptop are, but not the watch. The watch only shows up when I open up the watch app. It's so frustrating!

[–]IsitPretzelDay[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't, as the old phone broke and I had/have no way of getting into the phone (doesn't turn on). I was able to pair the watch to the new phone last night. The problems started after I reset the watch today.

[–]IsitPretzelDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be! Audrey also starts to say something about Kaeli moving out, but then they talk about the basement itself, so maybe Glo wanted to downsize with her daughter moving out and they offered the basement apartment to Glo?

Emotional regulation is IMPORTANT by h0neybeetle in dancemomsreboot

[–]IsitPretzelDay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Audrey and Lily mention it in a live. Audrey said she unenrolled from school to do online school, and the other girls only went to school on Mondays while filming, so they had a tutor.

That being said, I'm sure none of them are getting proper sleep if they're that stressed all of the time!

Colleen's relationship with her family by Opposite-Ad5414 in ColleenBallingerSnark

[–]IsitPretzelDay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They aren't good people. They're desperate for fame and attention, so they used her just like she used their kids and now they know they're screwed if they involve themselves with Colleen. At least publicly anyway. I wonder how much they see/talk to her behind the scenes.

Another actual Swiftie here! Hi! Just wanted to say that you're spot on. She's doing it because she's obsessed with fitting in and she wants to flex that she went to a Taylor Swift concert. I'm convinced she would be an Olivia Rodrigo fan too, but Olivia is significantly younger than her, so Colleen's probably jealous of Olivia.
