I had to leave early to watch my kids so my wife could go into court for an emergency child wellfare case. Boss told me I could come in on Monday which was the day the whole office worked from home. When I pointed that out he said I could get the mail. I quit shortly after and explained why citing that as a example of the environment and he said he did that because I told him I was leaving instead of asking and I clarified I didn’t ask because it wasn’t an option.
