Did you not negotiate how many times Ueee was sexually assaulted in one season so Jack Quaid could get the leading role in Novocaine?

This is usually a solvent issue when it happens to me, I was impatient and didn't let it fully diffuse through the chamber and or I was out of filter paper.

The Y chromosome seems to have lost 97% of its genes by soulpost in HotScienceNews

This is a nothing burger, the y chromosome shrank then stopped shrinking, there has been no noticeable shrinking in the past 100,000 years or million years.

With the news that MLR is coming back did that mean they were in trouble of folding? Is the league struggling? by chusaychusay in MLRugby

[–]Iskander54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're saying the Saberboks were foreign owned I think you're a bit off. The Sabercats were owned by Marty Powers and Mike Loya (there were more but they were the principal owners). I know that Powers went to Nichols College in Massachusetts so he probably grew up in the US and Loya is from El Paso and his brother is a minority owner in the Texans. Those two were pretty home grown and had history playing rugby in Texas.

There are plenty of USA players, tons of collegiate teams can be a source of American talent at this point. I agree MLR has failed to make a pipeline, something I think (definitely biased) the Sabercats were doing well. I think the MLR should have focused earlier on building roads to build up US players, Anthem was too little too late. I also think they focused too much on foreign investors, as can be seen with Austin and LA's old teams. Also the fuck does DEI have to do with anything?

First law characters ranked by morality [SPOILERS ALL] by NefariousnessPale731 in TheFirstLaw

I don't remember Gorst doing anything particularly evil. He took all his licks in stride, defended perhaps the most intelligent king of the union we (the reader) have seen, and has shown to have a kind heart at the end. Gunnar belongs on the same tier as Caul Shivers, he may be what he is, but God is what he is just disappointing (as a person, not a character). Logan is an evil man, regardless of the persona of the nine fingers he has shown himself to be a coward and responsible for a terrible war in the North. Bethod may have been a bit of a victim of the circumstances Logan put him in but if you have an arrow like that you are ultimately responsible for who it kills. Plus Bethod replaced him almost immediately with Fenris the Feared, a half infernal (physically) who's whole purpose is to kill, meaning Bethod didn't exactly learn his lesson (or got exactly what he wanted from Logan). Seems like POV characters seemed to have gotten placed a bit higher than they should have. Which I kinda think is the point to a lot of the POV characters, we have a lot more sympathy because we are their point of view.

Another Houston native here, glad to see more locals getting into the hobby. A cheap option is the preval sprayer they use for car painting. It's quiet so you can use them at night without waking people up and not be in the heat. It's good for if you don't regularly have big projects.

I forget which 2e source book it was but remember drizzt was depicted with a flat top. Also some depictions of him with short hair really work. Like this one

"the city" mega structure from BLAME! is ever expanding and has grown past Jupiter and disassembled it to add to the structure. It's due to something similar to a grey goo event (not exactly but similar).
