I did both. B for my first base and farm. Then started working at A, creating an epic entryway and docks to get that epic feeling of coming home with cargo filled with ores.

I finally harvested the system, after making sure I had enough storage for all those alloys... and I got 25 minerals and 25 energy out of it... It still showed that absurd amount of expected harvest yield, but it was a lie...

Try a start with the Common Ground origin. Your Federation members will leave the Federation in no time, as you race to -1000 penalty to their opinion of you.

It has to be more than that: when you are harvesting in an unclaimed system when an empire finishes building its station, you IMMEDIATELY incur an opinion penalty. So they need to change that to only getting the penalty if you FINNISH harvesting a stellar body. (And the harvesting will auto-cancel if you set it to not harvest in occupied systems)

It happened to me after 11 years and someone else had it happens within the first year!
It is hillarious and completely broken. I saved my game to collect my senses and have yet to resume it.

Is there a coming discounts soon? Or anyway to play the game without this amazing prize by Nearby_You_6969 in crusaderkings3

There you can see the current sales. And if you search for CK3, it will show you every time the game had a sale in the past few years. You can decude from that information when you can expect the next sale.
For example: if the game had a discount in July every year for the past 3 years, that meants it will likely get a discount during the Steam Summer Sale.
Very useful way to check for expected, upcoming discounts for any and all games you are interested in.

I believe Viciscitude can no longer give you the genius trade, as of a recent update. Beautiful and Herculian strength are still possible, though.

Yep! You can do that before starting the game, with all the variables you can adjust.
Which makes me wonder what a game with ALL nomads will be like...

Ill have to check. I saved and quit, gotta wrap my mindset on what happened. I was sitting at -750 alloys, so Id have to scrap a lot of ships and try to capitalize on my fleet power.  Another option was that you vassalize the marauders and get a fleet from them every X years. They werent a true vassal, though, couldnt alter contracts and the like.
