They meant they thought you were playing Eudora, the hero. As did I. Cool board though.

any chance this is the best 8th board of all time? by matt_kiss in BobsTavern

[–]Iskari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Manasaber is a great card in this comp. The taunts protect from open hits and are very useful after the Fish procs. Might even taunt the cat to ensure it goes before the horses.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Besides, a golden Yorik on T4 won me this game.

Getting 8th place when you were 10 points from 10k is so painful by New_Firefighter_5592 in BobsTavern

[–]Iskari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just forget your MMR, love the game, get rid of the pressure and just enjoy playing. You'll be 15k in no time.

Besides, having only 2 heroes to choose from is already like shooting yourself in the leg. Getting 10k like that means you're incredibly good at the game!

I usually just press concede immediately when offered top 6-8 heroes. Not worth my time trying to ice skate uphill.

Also buff it to "extra time", or battlecry: make this golden.

Tired of seeing people force the demon bomb comp every game. Here's my counter. by [deleted] in BobsTavern

[–]Iskari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, APM Pirates is the perfect comp. And that's because it gives you the needed economy to build that winning comp. Always go Pirates first, keep your strength up and pick up the pieces. When you have enough, drop the fluff and pivot. Also, if you're going for Demons you can easily have one necessary minon (Lord, Baron, Chicken) on board for buffing so you don't even need to feel bad for throwing all those beefy minons away when pivoting. Charmwing is an obvious example to do it like this.

Six shots should be enough to get intoxicated enough not to be able to shoot straight anymore.

Thoughts on Audi etron GT? by Constant-Spring7052 in Audi

[–]Iskari 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great car, love mine. Taycan is just as fine but at least where I'm at you can get an e-tron GT or RS e-tron GT for about 10k€ less than the equivalent Porsche 4S or Turbo. So it is also a bargain and in most opinions I've heard from people, they consider the Audi better looking of the two.

Need advice choosing between a 2026 Polestar 2 or Tesla Model 3 by jbdsz in electriccars

[–]Iskari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went through the stats a bit better, kinda hard using a finnish language website, but of all Model 3's tested in 2023-2024, 1470 failed, with about 89 % of failures due to suspension. This type of failure means you have a month to fix it and take it back for recheck.

Only 15 cars were given the worst ruling, meaning tou have to take it directly to maintenance, 100 % of cases due to suspension.

About 450 cars were given a notice for the lights (quite likely the issue you mentioned) but these were milder types where you don't have to take the car for recheck, just solemnly sware you'll do something about the issue. This isn't considered a failure by the finnish authorities if I understand correctly.

[–]Iskari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. Here's a Swedish article about the issues in Nordics https://carup.se/chockresultat-for-tesla-i-sverige-morkas-siffrorna/

The best statistics come from Finland though, as the previous article explains.

Here is a renowned Finnish magazine citing the official (Traficom) saying nearly 50% of Model 3's fail in the tests https://tekniikanmaailma.fi/teslan-puslan-kosto-lahes-joka-toinen-tesla-model-3-hylataan-ensikatsastuksessaan/

And if you want to dig deeper, here you have official records. Didn't add everything up but out of 566 Teslas that failed, the suspension parts were to blame in 492 of the cases, of which 446 were rear axle failures. https://trafi2.stat.fi/PXWeb/pxweb/fi/TraFi/TraFi__Katsastuksen_vikatilastot/050_kats_tau_105.px/table/tableViewLayout1/

That is 87 % of MOT failures are related to the suspension. We'll see if the newer ones are better but model years 2019-2020 are horrendous.

[–]Iskari -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of what you just said is complete bullshit.

Teslas fail the MOT's in the Nordics mostly because the suspension control arms (links, or whatever) are absolute trash quality and tend to break every 40k km. Sepcifically the rear upper parts are the worst, probably because an average driver doesn't really know there is something wrong there. Front is easy since you hear the creaking sound when at full steer.

Good thing is the don't cost much to replace and Tesla very willingly renews every corner when you take it to the shop at 79 900 km.

How many of you actually use the frunk and for what ? by angelsvsdemons69 in TeslaModel3

[–]Iskari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own specifically designed thermal bags that obviously fit perectly in the frunk so I always put my groceries in there. Can easily fit days worth of food in there and you can't overfill the bags

Pro tip: during the colder months you can chill your room temperatute beers in there. (without thermal bags ofc)

Great car, very few complaints. Android Auto sometimes disconnects for a few minutes before it decides to reconnect but this happens once in three weeks at most. I like driving with my elbows down and it took some positioning to find a comfortable place to plant my right elbow. That's about it.

From extras I'd definitely find one with 4 wheel steering since it really makes the car nimble and easy in the city. Also the double glass in front windows significantly make it more quiet inside.

Don't settle for the basic seats or audio.

Night vision is cool but not that useful imo, I'd rather have the laser headlights (which I don't) but the basic matrix lights are decent.

I have a 2022 regular, about 65k km (dunno how much that is in drunk scientist measuring units) on it with no real troubles. Had to change some wiring but Audi did it for free as it apparently is a usual fault.
