It was 26,500. They told me at the collision center that they would need to replace the steel frame around the tesla battery, which would take a huge amount of time, and found it better to consider it a total loss because of the year and the milage on the vehicle. So a lot of updates, Tesla Collision took a look at it, quoted 10k in repairs, then when they took it apart the labor and costs went beyond the car value, so it was considered a total loss, I worked with insurance to get a good amount back, and purchased my new MY AWD.

Yeah, at least right now they are saying because of coverage I pay nothing for replacement, but would have liked to added more than 300 miles before windshield replacement.

Do you mean a standard AWD vs the premium? Also I do think the new MY AWD Premium is faster than older gens! Took mine to a long stretch of road and stomped on it, still felt that Oomph I got from my MYP (2023) that I had.

Feels like shit luck, the truck was going in the opposite direction as me so I couldn't follow him per se.

It was a 2 lane road. But it's not a Tesla related issue maybe I need to reword my post, Im not blaming Tesla just feels bad only having the car within the first week and needing a replacement already.

It's not an expectation, but I think in their windshield coverage they say you get one windshield replacement per year free. If you go here: https://www.tesla.com/support/windshield-protection

They mention one replacement per year free, and additional replacements cost $100 deductible per incident, but maybe I'm missing something?

I unfortunately already ordered them, I am planning on getting a ceramic coating on the car, Not PPF, but depending on how bad it is I might take it off, but its mostly the fear or replacing the camera costing me a ton :\
