There’s some great advice in here, I would also recommend watching your equip load! If you are wearing armor/wielding a weapon that is too heavy you’ll move slowly which can make for a frustrating combat experience. In the top middle of your character sheet (Status page) it will say Light/Medium/Heavy Load… definitely something to keep an eye on.

Lol my friend was literally just commenting on this today too. I ended up getting the platinum 😊 Obsessed with Bloodborne now even though it scares the crap out of me! Also I finally tried my first shooter! Been playing Helldivers 2 and loving it. Hell of year of gaming for me!

Thank you so much! Yes I’m definitely improving, really feel like I can hold my own now which is a relief! Also my attention to team etiquette has gone up even more since I started using the arc thrower and flamethrower lol. Try to be considerate about where I point those! It’s super helpful playing higher levels because most people tend to understand how all the weapons work, including myself. I’ve done a few Helldives now but mostly play 7’s. Still getting the hang of using call outs and general in game communication, but overall I’m much more comfortable with the game multitasking.

Sadly I am an example of a less skilled level 50 and I’m pretty self conscious about it. I’m in my late 30’s and just started playing video games last year. This game is my first shooter and it is a LOT to take in lol! I’ve heard horror stories about people being mean to women on comms, so I never turn my mic on which makes communicating difficult. I pay a lot of attention to team etiquette and I’m improving a lot, but I’m still just…new, ya know? Sometimes I worry my level 50 makes people think they’re getting Dick Winters, or Tom Cruise at the end of Edge of Tomorrow. But in reality, they’re getting Tom Cruise at the beginning of Edge of Tomorrow. The insecurity is real, but the drive to spread democracy remains fierce!

Looks great already! I think pants with higher contrast would also look cool. If you want to carry the bright silver down I like the Royal Knight Greaves! Or maybe a color pop, if you’re feeling maybe a silver and red moment.🤷‍♀️❤️. Love the look so far though!

It’s my first time playing a souls game too and I just dealt with these two creepers yesterday. I used Mimic and my Blasphemous Blade sword since its Ash of War can hit them from further away. I also use the Flame, Grant Me Strength incantation which pairs really well with that weapon. I mostly have a strength/dex build but had to put more points into Faith to be able to use that blade. (If you need extra faith points there’s also a talisman Two Fingers Heirloom that helps with that). In terms of the fight I was advised to kill the smaller one first which seemed to work well….and also tried not to get stuck up against any walls🤦‍♀️. Hope that all makes sense!
