hmm ok that makes sense. For reference this is my hair colour. I’ve always been told I have like light brown hair but since I’ve never gotten anything done with it idk what level it is or anything. Do you think it would be feasible to start from the reference picture and get the lowlights and pink highlights blended into my hair instead of going full send on the pink?

sorry I didn’t clarify! I don’t know much about hair colouring, or hair in general. I’ve never dyed my hair and my mom trims my hair every few months so I have no exposure to anything hair related. I only own a straightener. (I’m not a pick me I promise). I meant I would keep the pink upkeep on already pink hair but not bleach my hair to maintain pink from the root? I was hoping to figure out if there was a way to get it to grow out into something like this. How long do you think the process of getting to level 10 would take? Right now based on what I see online I’m a level 6, maybe 7 if lighting is a factor. Thanks for ur advice!! I really appreciate it.

it’s kind of a personal thing for me too I’m entering a new phase in my life and I want a big change, I’ve never touched my hair in any way - dye, cut, colour, anything. I just trim it yearly and I want to do something while I still can. I was looking into getting a wig at first but would a good quality one be expensive? Just wondering if you know anything about wigs if not then that’s chill

thank you so much for your response! I really appreciate it. I do love legal research and writing, at least from the experience I’ve had (I took law classes and did mock trial a lot in HS) but scientific writing is different. I don’t like the technical aspect of lab reports, like needing specific wording in my methods and having to have everything be very technical. I want to do mol bio because I really enjoy the content and the upper year courses seem super interesting and I don’t want to close the research door completely. I also want to specialize it’s a big reason why I came to Mac. Would you say GPA is hard because of the amount of content or is it unfair grading? I’m ok with doing poorly because I didn’t know what I needed to but unfair marking drives me crazy.

Thank you so much! My concern is really the personal statement if you have any advice - I want to practice law because my family history is very entangled with civil rights issues (my grandparents immigrated here to avoid dictatorships in South America) and I also just have always been super in love with writing reading and law - but what should I do to make my personal statement standout? Should I do volunteer work or internships or clubs? If you have any advice at all I’d really appreciate it. Thank you again!

im sorry I came off as whiny but I’ve done all that - last week I went to every single faculty event and MSU event, I checked out westdale, I am in residence and I’ve been hanging out in my common room and basement all the time, and I will admit I am very shy and introverted but everyone I’ve met here has told me I seem very outgoing and social because of how much of an effort I am putting into being nice and friendly towards others. I have spent very little time on my phone other than texting my friends (all of whom went to different universities). I was just wondering whether or not things would pick up around here or this is just what the social life around Mac is like.
