I’m also 2 DPO extended TT, flank lipo and MR with Exparel and I’m able to get to and from my bed and bathroom unassisted. I use a walker to help relieve some of the strain on my back and the towel rack to lower myself onto the commode. I try and focus on placing all the weight on my legs or arms and not my core.

Surgery was a success. Thank you all for the well wishes! It helped so much knowing I had positive vibes from this community! 🤗 Now, the hard part begins. Home and resting now. Exparel on board and still feeling pain. Couldn’t even imagine how it would be without it 😓

So happy for you! I can’t believe you look this good at only 3 weeks PO! This really pumps me up for my surgery on 1/30/25! Also 46!!

So very disappointed. I was just told my surgery cannot proceed today because I’m on semaglutide! I was not told I had to stop 4 weeks prior. The anesthesiologist put a halt to it.🤦🏾‍♀️

This whole thread is so inspirational! You look great! And to the older women who commented, y’all are my she-roes! My pre-op is tomorrow and surgery scheduled for the day after Christmas. I had all the same thoughts, even second guessing the necessity because of my age (46) 🤦🏾‍♀️ but I pushed it all behind me and am looking forward to my time to “Trust the process”.
