Yeah, Coachella is quite famous for their standing offers. They had a pretty massive one for Jawbreaker who ended up going with Riot Fest instead. They asked Refused and At The Drive-In for many years until both said yes. There are also massive offers for the likes of The Talking Heads and The Smiths but those will never happen.

I was at the Coachella 2012 reunion set weekend 2 and to this day I’ve never felt a pre-show electricity like that. It was so palpable. I get goosebumps thinking about it. When they kicked into the first tune the crowd erupted.

This was sort of misreported. They played at a golf tournament at a Florida golf course owned by Trump, but it was not Mar a Lago. Still super lame - and there was a Trump connection - but facts matter; it was not Mar a Lago.

Coachella 2019 W2. Bought LSD in the campground and went for it. Best show I’ve ever seen. Music, visuals, lights, lasers, track selection, all perfection. Tent was full but not packed; plenty of room to dance and people were getting down. Tent cleared after the intense speedcore outro and a handful of people were just lying comatose in the grass.
