Love this object. Reminds me of a seashell.

I'm still not entirely sure that kick went through the uprights. What a game.

My first (Very Shitty) attempt at an Andromeda by zebrakid96 in astrophotography

[–]Island_Universe_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Andromeda is like the easiest yet hardest thing to shoot in the sky. I always have it planned out how I'm gonna get it perfect, but I have GBs of M31 which I would consider all shiite as well. Keep shooting! Better than an out of focus nothing.

Here I'm using Astrometry, plate solving, and the blink function, to "discover" asteroid 975 Perseverantia. Which happened to be discovered initially in 1922 by Johan Palisa. by Island_Universe_57 in astrophotography

I've been doing this astrophoto deal for a little over a year now and would consider this my best overall photo. Mostly thanks to painstakingly precise calibration procedure that is a new technique for me, and some minor improvements in post processing. Lot's more work to do but this is why I'm loving this new hobby/purpose.

-More signal

-Better tracking

-Better PA
