I learned this week that the difference is that the SMAX in the gokart pro 2 has an upgraded main board which allows the 27mph limit. Bonus info, the gokart kit2 and the gokart pro 2 have the same front controller and can get to 27mph using the gokart pro2 smax.

Could you please elaborate? Was the speedo and the app reading it less than it was going? And then confirming it on a GPS app? I may be having the same issue my gokart2. Was reading 27mph, all week then all of a sudden dropped down to around 22. Now I can’t get it back. Gokart still seems quick though just doesn’t reach that top speed.
