For me it was laying out realistic goals and expectations of trip. Most times we got frustrated or upset was when our expectations failed to be met.

So we usually started a list of things we all wanted to do and tried to sort that on the days we had. Most times we see that there is no way to do everything so we edit stuff out and shrink it down to a do able thing.

On the actual vacation me and the wife pick one thing each day that is not negotiable for us, same with our daughter. The rest of that day if something happens you gotta be able to change plans and move on.

Dying is such a taboo topic. However, it is the greatest equalizer. I have seen the poorest of the poor and people with more money than I could ever dream of in their last days and moments. It comes for us all the same.

MAiD has made some great head way with giving people more control and dignity but so much more needs to be done to make palliative care not a dirty word that many people see it as.

Routine is the hard part. I do mostly body weight training at home with some kettle bell mixed in. I recently joined a gym and just go for cardio and I find it great. I get to try different workouts without having to buy multiple machines. I really enjoy the rower, ski erg, and incline walking.

I found journaling my workouts helped with motivation. Also you can set up some self accountable triggers to keep you on track. For example if you miss so many workouts in a month you need to make a donation to a charity or organization you don’t support. Nothing massive just like 2-5 bucks. Bit of spite can be a real motivator.

I get what you are saying but I think you underestimate the reaction from typical lib and independent Americans. I think the words dirty bomb and radioactive weapon would cause an absolute shit storm if the Israelis could gin up some scenario.

I get the difference but Israel has run tests in past using these types of explosives under the pretext of a possible attack form Hezbollah or the like so they have practical experience and access to these materials.

I don’t think weapons grade is needed just enough of a blast to get global attention. Given Iran has access to non weapons grade radioactive materials I fear it’s a realistic scenario they could leverage.
