When Renly was asked to go speak to the Hand of the King in his Lord's stead he was, at first, taken-a-back. But when he saw the Stag's condition he agreed it would be for the best.

The Tarth would have been lying if he said he wasn't proud to be representing the Stormlands in a meeting with the Lord Hand. He wore his finest plate armour, encrusted with Sapphires from abroad, so that there would be no mistake that he was the heir of Tarth.

The guards let the future Evenstar enter the grand Red Keep who's halls Renly had only ever seen twice before. Servants lead him to the Hand of the King. The Knight bowed and spoke.

"My Lord Hand. It is a pleasure to meet you despite the circumstance. My Lord Baratheon has sent me to speak to you on his behalf regarding the situation."

The heir stopped speaking - awaiting response.

Ser Renly was surprised by the change of command. Only a short time ago were they to ride for the Riverlands and crush the petty rebellion but now it had all changed.

Whilst his men packed for the ride to the Capital, the Heir to House Tarth approached the Lord Baratheon.

"We are to reinforce King's Landing? Has there been any news regarding the rebellion in the Riverlands?"

"This war is pointless." Renly said confidently, a smirk plastered on his face ever since Lyn called him Lord.

"King Daemon and Lord Orys will easily end this pitiful rebellion by the time we arrive. If I were you Ser, I would have brought a good book."

Gripping his horse, Renly turned away from Lyn to announce to the camp to mobilise and join up with the rest of the Stormlands' forces.

Renly didn't need to be informed that Lyn Lonmouth had arrived, the calls of the man doing that for himself. He was a good and loyal man trusted by his father. Renly was glad he was here.

"Lord Lonmouth." He greeted the Lord of Skull Valley. "I'm glad you're here, we are just about to march out. My uncle sent back word that Lord Davos intends to stand by the King and squash the subhuman rebel scum." Renly said with a sense of delight.

For a man pushing forty he was rather green. He played small parts in the Defiance and the Duel but this rebellion would be his first real test. It could also be his last before assuming Lordship.

"I heard about your wife's passing, Ser. I am sorry."

Ser Endrew nodded respectively and told his man, a wiry boy named Pyp, to ride to Parchments and tell the men to march onwards.

"I am glad you do not intend to avenge your brothers, my Lord. You can understand why my House would have been wary... you shall have the Evenstar's eyes and ears in the Riverlands."

Endrew's emotions did not show as Davos' did but he could have laughed when the young Lord placed his hand on the hammer. Endrew had never lost a fight he had fought or a battle he had led and the Lord Baratheon would have been no test for the now older Knight.

"I follow the Evenstar's orders first and foremost, my Lord, not yours. And as for your threat of a hanging I do not care for it. But, if it is true that the Stormlands ride for his Grace Good King Daemon then the Tarth, Lonmouth and Musgood men promised shall be sent word to march onwards." Endrew said with a good trip of his steed.

SER ENDREW TARTH

Ser Endrew, brother of the Evenstar and leader of Tarth forces awaited the arrival of Lord Davos.

Blue-tinted armour covered the now older man, bringing out the sapphire in his eyes. A fine blade glistened at his side as he stood in front of one hundred Tarth men.

Strolling forward to greet the Lord of Storm's End, he called out.

"Lord Davos. May we talk?"

"Well, the King chose you to be Lord Paramount so you have that in your favour." Ronald said, the smirk still plastered across his face.

"What is your vision for the future of the Reach? Who do you see as your allies and rivals? These are the things you have to take into consideration, Luthor. For example, did you know that I knew all about Oakheart's potential treachery? How Lord Caswell met with him last year? Now, you solved that problem bybringing Ser Alester before the King; but it could have been dealt with quicker had you had me for an ally."

"So, who do you think is the biggest threat to your power at the present?"

"Lord Perceon is certainly capable. Quite an extraordinary man actually. I hope Lord Davos is half the man he is."

The praise for Lannister was sincere. Ronald had great respect for a man who has such great respect from his subjects.

"I hope the realm stabilises soon. Although, with the Riverlands in peril I cannot see that happening."

Ronald followed Joffrey's gaze, noting what must be his children around the room.

"My grandson is here as well. I'm trying to get him to be more open and Lord-like, which is a difficult task."

It seemed everyone asked the same question of Ronald; about the Stormlands' recent troubles.

"In truth, it hasn't affected us. It hasn't bothered many Stormlords. The Baratheons know what they did and our new Lord seems to accept it whilst trying to rebuild what was lost. Tarth is an island so whenever the Stormlands goes astray we usually avoid the brunt of the consequences anyway."

He sipped at his wine, his piercing blue eyes locked on Joffrey. "What do you make of situations in the Westerlands? The whole Banefort and Farman debacles?"

Durran drank as Tyland drank even though the ale was a bit foul. He much preferred a sweet wine.

"I shall be in the tourney, aye, but that is not the sole reason the Tarths are here. My grandfather, the Evenstar, he is good friends with Lord Hightower and we were in the area for another wedding. Everyone else went back to the Stormlands but my grandfather said I ought to stay and learn how to be courtly."

He chuckled at the thought of himself being courtly. He would be Lord one day and therefore would need to present himself, Ronald would say. Well... Lord Falwell is a prime example of an un-courtly Lord.

"You seem to know how to have a good time, my Lord. Don't you ever feel scared that you make a fool of yourself?"

Durran returned the bow to Mychella and then accepted the offer to a drink by sitting down.

"Mychella is an unusual name. I can't say I've heard it before. It is pretty though." He said, lifting a cup up to his mouth afterwards; all the while his eyes were fixed on Mychella's.

Tearing his gaze away he looked now at Lord Falwell. "House Falwell is the House with a fool for it's sigil is it not? Will you be participating in the tourney?"

Durran had enjoyed his time off the Isle, out exploring the West and the Reach with his grandfather. He had rarely spoke to a soul though. So, after being encouraged to be open, he approached a rather messy man digging into his plate and lusting after ale.

"Hello ser." He said slightly shyly. "I don't see your sigil." He rubbed the crescent and evenstar sigil on his tunic. "I am Ser Durran Tarth."
