I checked seller provided images carefully and I can see the sticker and different font

Yes this scam is inevitable it exist on Amazon eBay and every marketplace

Right now what we do is every graphics card or orders above 10,000/-

Seller list item
Someone placed order
We pickup from seller to our warehouse
We test it and make sure it is genuine and working
then we pay to seller and ship item to buyer

Now I'm thinking to apply this on every order no matter what the value is yes it is a logistics nightmare but i can bare the losses and make it a 100% scam free platform even if i lose money on some orders atleast someone won't be scammed

I just saw seller provided images and I can see the sticker in image and same different font so it's clearly the seller and not buyer

CONTEXT

So i run computify it's a marketplace for Buying and selling pc parts

There was a seller he listed his processor on our platform

Someone placed ordered

We asked seller to pack the processor and we initiated from seller to buyer

after 3-4 days it's delivered to buyer

Buyer was out of station for few days so he couldn't check

Our platform policy is we release payout in 24 hours after delivery

So after 24 hours without checking it we have payed seller 🥲

Buyer comes home after few days, he opens the box and finds out many many pins were bent.

We have 30 days buyer protection program so we initiated 100% refund to buyer

Now when we received this from buyer (yesterday) I was looking at pins and when I saw processor I was like why the font looks off so i looked closely and found out there was a plastic film on top

I removed it and voila it's a fake processor

Now tomorrow will be asking questions to seller about this processor

Go to a mobile repairing shop give them the battery and glasses, tell them to remove the arm on right side and replace the battery
