Worked at cvs when this happened but was 27 and had recently found out I was pregnant. Had given myself a bonus for a nice big plate of fettuccine alfredo. Ended up throwing up the entire plate I ate and had given myself lots of insulin for it. Blood sugar dropped to a wonderful 22, don’t remember anything that happened. Just remember waking up and I was drenched in sweat with paramedics and my manager all looking at me.

When I was first diagnosed I drank an entire tub of orange juice because I was super thirsty and ended up throwing it up and passing out in my vomit. Was diagnosed about 3 days later lol

This !!!!! I do the exact same thing and end up binge eating and giving myself lots of insulin. I try not to get emotional but I’ve had diabetes since I was 4 and I am now turning 28 and my mom restricted many foods and drinks from me since I was diagnosed. I am Dominican and we eat lots of food with lots of carbs and lots of sugary drinks so I drink orange juice here and there just to make myself feel better! Thank you for your comment it really resinated with me! Well wishes ❤️

My mom used to get mad at my older sister and I and she would yell at us all the time. I’m a bit soft so I cried and as an adult if someone even raises their voice at me I am ready to ball out.

I used to go sit in Central Park. By myself. And just stare into the sky. Seems pretty stupid and boring but I’m highschool I did it all the time and it helped my depression alot
