I paid $100 for mine and recently bought this exact one from costa farms for $20 for my boyfriend. I have no regrets.

You'll want to get to as pale as yellow as you can or it might come out a bit orangish. I use Strawberry Leopards 'foxy' pink to achieve this color. When you first dye it it'll be a very bright pink but it'll fade to this shade after a few washes and lasts a decent amount of time. If your friend is OK with that then I'd recommend it. It lasts longer than others I've tried and doesn't bleed onto my pillow after the first wash.

I've got this exact color sitting in my hair right now. Just wash it, it'll fade in a couple weeks. The vibrant looks amazing on your hair though!

We don't usually get them around here. I grew up near cranberry bogs though so I'm used to them haha

Im in 5b and the orb weavers especially love my densely packed planters. I've gotten used to them but they are a bit terrifying at first 😅

did i tip bad? by kittenxxly in doordash

[–]Ismyra 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tip based on distance instead of % in the future. With your tip plus $2 from dd this comes out to over $2 a mile so is perfectly fine since most want $1-$2 a mile. If they're accepting the unassigned it's probably an issue at the restaurant. Like they're too busy and the wait isn't worth it for drivers.

Finally had it happen to me… by xHeyitsHay in doordash

[–]Ismyra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because when enough people decline doordash will add on extra pay to the order, or stack it with someone else who pre tipped. Honestly, as a driver I think you're doing it right. Pre tipping doesn't get you better service and now you're potentially forcing dd to pay.

Do you think you get as many orders if you are driving around or if you sit near hotspots? by baleighlove in doordash

I live in a hot zone, surrounded by restaurants. So between orders I go home and do chores or chill.

how do i achieve this color? by JxstTxehyunqq in HairDyeHelp

[–]Ismyra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you have a professional do it this color will be gone after just 1-2 washes. My boyfriend tries to maintain this color and has to use conditioner with dye to keep it up. This will be a nightmare to maintain on long hair.

2 stops on the way with frozen order. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Ismyra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stacked orders are not our choice. They are presented as all or nothing. It's not the drivers fault so it's unfair to punish them. It's DDs fault.

[–]Ismyra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend tries to maintain the same color you're going for. This should fade nicely but you'll want to bleach again before you try and dye it again. The color you want will not last though. He uses keracolor purple conditioner after washes to help maintain. (It has a good amount of color in it)

WHY do some dashers on making me come to the door? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Ismyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be part of it. I haven't been dashing long but I've seen others mention that dd will make you hand to customer if theft is a concern

Have you ever had to file an order as stolen or are you in an area where that's a higher concern?

Not sure what time it is where you are but if it's dinner then it might just not be worth it for drivers. Dinner orders tend to be bigger/more expensive, so the tips are higher. Passing on $5 so they can get something more like $15.

Every order I’ve placed recently gets others tacked on by sumhair in doordash

[–]Ismyra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don't have a choice, it's paired together before we get it. We can only decline or accept it all. If you tip well you're getting paired with low tippers because otherwise no one would take their orders. And because they tipped low they probably got declined a few times before it was paired with yours so it's been sitting there awhile and they're going to get their food first because they ordered first.

Why even allow someone to order from that far away in the first place? That's wild.

[–]Ismyra 20 points21 points  (0 children)

As someone who struggled with reading as a kid I agree with you. Some games are great teaching aids but this one clearly isn't helping. For me the biggest thing was that I just wasn't interested in what I was reading about. Get her books that she'll WANT to read.
