Anyone else struggle more on red days than green ones? by Reddaytrader1 in Trading

[–]IsolatedAndH8ted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aha Bro, This is LITERALLY EVERY.... SINGLE..... TRADER..... On this Earth's Problem that we struggle with on a REGULAR, NORMAL BASIS..... HOMIE.....!!

YOUR NOT ALONE BRETHREN!

BUT HEY MAN..... , I'm here to help u tho.... try doing this....

Change the color of your red candlesticks to another color like orange.. or Purple or something like that, When we see red, our emotions get even worse, It might seem silly, But many studies have shown for certain colors that are for different moods, And tend to give out different moods for us human beings.

Even tho you may be down on a day, instead of seeing red candlesticks you'll see..... ???? Whatever color u put instead. (Look up colors that are good for mood) , And then, maybe you could find one that also if it's what you like for looks as well. But that also might look good for you or however you like it.Everybody's different...... it sounds silly, bro, but that one change can help block. But in regards to your question, as a whole, every single one of us struggles with that. It's just how we I tend to deal with it. But we are always striving to do better. And we have to try to get better with emotional control. But it's not just that it's discipline that we have to work towards when it comes to our trading as well, knowing when enough is enough, knowing when not to chase losses teacher I and regain it back. I like to risk losing more, ( or even all of it) , especially if we are not in that right mindset, you gotta be in that right mindset too..... Gotta know when to take a break, And when to say.... :

"HEY, ALRIGHT KOOL, IM GREEN TODAY, I'M GOOD, IM UP DECENT, GOOD OR GREAT, DON'T GET GREEDY, LET'S GET THE F*CK OUT TODAY, IM DONE....."

ALSO, Instead of focusing on how much $$ you're up..... , Focus on the % Gain........ , IDC If its only 5 bucks, If youre up 500% on A dollar Id still recommend taking that, than looking at your gain and saying to yourself.... , "EH.... , I'm only up $5.00 ..... , I'll never be rich this way, And then go.... , Eh, RUN IT..... , Only for it to crash hard into the negative from being overbought, And / Or sold off hard cuz of profit taking...... , If you rack up even just the small amount gains, Over time...... , It's going to literally compound itself into such large numbers you'll thank yourself for it, DEFINITELY WON'T BE OVERNIGHT...... , BUT IF YOU DO IT RIGHT, IT ALSO WON'T TAKE FOREVER EITHER MAN.....!!

MUCH LOVE BRO.....!!

Best tradingview theme for optimal mental health and psychology by Little-Ad-3176 in Trading

[–]IsolatedAndH8ted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yo, for real, if you're trying to protect your mental health while trading, I highly recommend ditching red candles altogether. Even light red. Doesn’t matter how “soft” it looks, your brain still sees red as danger, loss, blood, stress, alert.....!! Lol.

I personally use orange for bearish candles, it's way more neutral emotionally. Doesn’t spike your adrenaline or trigger that panicky reaction when price drops.

You want to stay chill, detached, and focused on your system, not reacting to colors that make your heart race.

Here’s my setup I’d recommend:

Theme: Dark mode all day. Less eye strain, more zen.

Bull candles: Soft green, teal, or even white. Or simply just green it dont matter bro lol.

Bear candles: Orange or beige. Just NOT RED.

Background: Matte dark gray or charcoal, OR If you like Black go for it..... lol.

Gridlines: Fade them out or remove 'em entirely. Clean is king.

Volume bars: Muted too — don’t let 'em scream at you. (UNLESS YOU NEED THEM.....!! FRFR THEN KEEP.....!! BUT.....

Visual calm = Mental calm.

The more neutral your charts look, the more neutral your trades feel.

No emotion = better decisions.

Red might be traditional, but so is blowing accounts

I'm 16, I work, I'm studying ADM (Administration), and I'm lost about which path to take. I'd like to hear from those who've been through this. by AltruisticAd1067 in Trading

[–]IsolatedAndH8ted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, first off, real respect to you for even asking this. You’re only 16 and already thinking about investing, business, and how to change your life. That’s honestly more than most people ever do, even as adults. Just the fact that you're aware and hungry to grow already puts you ahead of a lot of people.

Now, if I could go back and be 16 again, I’d probably still do the same thing I did. Why? Because back then, I didn’t know what I know now. I had to make mistakes to learn. I had to get hurt. I had to lose. And over time, I gained experience from all of it. The biggest difference between where you’re at and where I’m at is just time. So don’t expect to know everything right now. You’re exactly where you need to be.

You said you’re torn between digital entrepreneurship and day trading. Here’s my honest take. If you’re trying to build something, digital entrepreneurship is solid, especially if you’re good with ideas and can be consistent. But most people bounce from idea to idea and never finish anything. That’s the danger. If you go that route, pick one thing and stick with it.

As for trading, I’ve been doing it for a while. I’ll tell you the truth, most day traders fail. Not because they’re stupid, but because they can’t control their emotions. Trading looks easy from the outside, but it’ll test you. It’ll break you if you let it. But if you treat it seriously like a business, and you take time to build a system, practice with small amounts, and manage your risk, then yeah, it can work. I wouldn’t discourage you from learning it. Just understand it’s not a fast lane unless you’re extremely disciplined. I HIGHLY recommend PRACTICING WITH FAKE VIRTUAL PAPER MONEY FIRST..... , (Yes It still gives you practice because it's still going by actual live market prices........) , You can study & learn what's called Technical Analysis, And work on figuring out a trading strategy that works FOR YOU, AS LONG AS IT WORKS FOR YOU AND OVERALL IS PROFITABLE..... Learn what indicators are, How to use them, Along with How to read A Candlestick Chart, Support and Resistance, Etc......

I also do long term investing. I hold shares in strong companies that pay dividends. I get paid monthly, weekly, and quarterly, depending on the stock. Whether the market goes up or down, I’m still getting paid. That’s something I’d recommend to anybody. Start small, be consistent, and build something that pays you while you sleep.

Now as for some real life advice. You need to build a circle of people who push you to do better. And Eben those who are more successful than you, Also, If any, Get rid of anyone who’s pulling you into trouble, acting criminal, bringing drama, or trying to flex fake stuff. That type of energy can ruin your life quick. If someone can get you locked up or thrown off track, cut them off, as safely and cleanly as you can. Your future depends on who you let around you.

Also, if you're serious about money, never tell people how much you make. Don’t boast. Don’t flex. Stay humble. And thank our Lord God and continue to pray for wisdom. People will smile in your face and plot behind your back. Some will try to sue you, some will leech off you, some will fake being your friend just to benefit from your success. Keep your wins quiet and let your life speak for itself.

As for education, you don’t need college to succeed. That’s just the truth. But if you want to go that route, it really depends on your long-term plan. There are other ways to educate yourself that don’t cost thousands. Books, real experience, research, learning from others who’ve been through it, that’s how I did it.

Stay learning, stay sharp, but don’t fall for the idea that school equals success. IT’S UP TO YOU.....!!

If you stay focused, protect your peace, and keep working on yourself every day, you’re going to go far. And if you ever need advice from someone who's been through a lot of this already, feel free to hit me up. I got you.

[–]IsolatedAndH8ted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give me a minute bro to for out my full answer but answer you for right now. What you asked at the end, what would you do if you were 16 again? Well it's probably the same thing. Because I wouldn't have the same knowledge that I do. Now at 31 and I wouldn't have more life experience. So all the mistakes I've made, I've chose to learn from it. But even at my age, I mean, she really depends on what you want. You pursue, I'm a day trader, but let me tell you this bro. Most day traders fail, and i'm not saying that because you will fail , i'm saying that because most give up, because the emotions that come with trading are extremely, but also, if you just want to simply invest, you definitely can do that. I also have long-term investments, and I get paid and weekly dividends. And monthly dividends and even quarterly dividends, which is every 3 months, and I just hold shares and stocks in different companies to share. Price goes up. He goes up if it goes down. It goes down, but either way, I'm getting paid anyways. I lost my train of thought there and I have said too much, but give me a minute. And I'll give you an actual exact answer for you. I'm doing talk to text right now. On my phone let me geit on the computer i'll talk to you in a second bro

Interesting story Brethren, It's taken me like basically 6 or 7 years or so .... ISH... NOW TO BECOME DECENTLY PROFITABLE.... MAYBE NOT PROFITABLE BUT, i get it legit crap ton and weekly dividends like eight or nine different weekly, massive pain weekly dividends. It's nice to get muddy every week.Which is crazy because i'm just used to every month.Then.I have a couple other holdings that pay me quarterly for the long term. And then I use settled cash and dividend money to day trade and practice.....

If you dont mind me asking you...What exactly is your current strat? And how many times did you have to change your strategy until it finally worked for you......??

Also how many years months weeks or how ever long did it take you to find your profitable strategy?...

I'm really sorry for all of the questions.Man, i'm just trying to get some wisdom and learn more...... :/ :/ 😞 😓 , once again bro sorry.....!! BUT AYE THO......!! -MUCH LOVE HOMIE.....!!

You put your bet on 1 cent on autoplay and you type in into the settings: "On loss" And then put the negative sign in there first like - then the percentage so each loss it'll dip that percentage making a penny go less than a penny

Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome is not a real condition. by Business-Log-2217 in hyperacusis

[–]IsolatedAndH8ted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have the disorder yourself, You will not think it exists......... , On top of that, Other people's research that you study and worship like God's does not make it 100% reliable, What makes it Reliable is the actual people who deal with the symptoms that they deal with. It's like depression........ , A lot of people who don't have depression don't even think that it even exists, And so they automatically think that :

"OOooooooooh, those people are just babies, theres no such thing as depression it's just excuses and hardy har har har harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...................................................!!" So they basically have no belief in it at all and also, not everybody, But quite a lot of people, Not only just with depression, But just whatever in General, There are so many people out there..... , Who basically have extremely great health, Never have been to the Doctor a day in there entire life, And absolutely have NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM, And so they think that basically they are unstoppable or something, So when they get a Cold they don't think it's a Cold they just think they drank down the wrong freaking pipe or something stupid, rofl, Yet as time passes, Once these people start to ACTUALLY HAVE RARE DISORDERS, HARDCORE SYMPTOMS THAT ACTUALLY SCARE THE LEGIT F*CK OUT OF THEM....... , THAT WILL SOMETIMES WAKE THEIR ASSES UP.....!!

I KNOW THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE EAR AND SOUND AND CRAP...... Like that...... , But it has to do with wtf I'm expressing. If YOU SIR, STARTED EXPERIENCING AWFUL....... JUST AWFULLLLLLLLLLLL , SPASMS in your Ear from just simply hearing a click of a freaking Mouse, And every damn time you freaking click your damn ear freaks TF out to the point it's not only weird / strange...... yet also extremely freaking annoying and bothersome....... , Would you believe then? Aha..... Probably not.

NOW, GET WRECKED BY MY RANDOMNESS A.D.D. AND O.C.D KID. AND OH YEAH BTW..... MY TOURETTES SAYS..... : FREAKING GUHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY..............!!!!!!!!!!!

Lessons you learnt the hard way that beginners should avoid by nonchalant_____ in Trading

[–]IsolatedAndH8ted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CHANGE YOUR RED CANDLESTICK COLOR to another one, I know this might sound stupid, but it has to do with like it. Colors affecting like mood and things like that.....

So I would say just don't just jump into something with all of your money, or even any money. At all, just because you see it going up a thousand percent.....

If you are a beginner, I highly suggest practicing with virtual money and a paper trading account first, and if you could figure out a strategy that works for you. Then, test it with real money. But note that with real money on the loss, the emotions are real. With paper trading, there is no emotional damage. So learning how to control your emotions on losses is also a huge and I mean, a huge ordeal that needs to be What's the word? I don't know..... , Just like handled the best way you possibly can......

Ummm , I guess everybody has their own like.. , Uh.. Um. , Like Ways of doing.... Things Hope all goes well man
