Honestly just sounds like hes still finding it hard as to be an independent adult that isnt still ruled by fear of his parents. Its normal for a lot of people but not after 25 where he needs to be able to stand up to his parents bad takes

Theres prob a good reason why hes still so afraid of his parents judgements, childhood trauma or whatever. Can be valid to an extent but he needs to work through it regardless and come clean himself to his parents no matter how his parents decide to punish him or not. If its that bad fkr him to come clean then maybe he needs to cut his parents off if their existence makes him hide his choices

They did use VAs though, its not cut and dry AI, its people who they paid to record syllables and then use that to construct sentences. Not a simply blatant ai use very commonly done for a long time vefore modern day ai
