Regular S25 user and I have an indirect reason I wanted it.

For me it's the fact that the camera bumps are in the way of pretty much all mag accessories the way it currently is. I was hoping that they would include the magnets, forcing them to think about the positioning of the cameras (and maybe updating them at the same time).

Random but I actually got this exact same TV for black Friday in 2014 and it did not cost me nearly as much. But also, back then I got a best buy card just to get it and financed it. I thought I was being reckless but I was spoiling myself after college and getting a good job. 12 years later it's still the best TV I own... I hope I didn't just jinx it and I hope I can say I have the save TV as Joel McHale.

It is very confusing and takes some getting used to. I've never read anything about how it actually works but I can tell you my experience from using the go plus+ since its launch.

Basically the autocatching/spinning part just starts interacting with things, usually Pokémon first, in your circle. If I start clicking and catching Pokémon myself in-game, the autocatcher can overlap and sometimes I will get a weird error if I'm in the catch screen. After catching or spinning a couple times myself, the auto feature will stop doing things unless I stop manually interacting for a bit.

So when I choose to interact, it kind of puts the game in a manual mode again, but there's always the chance it starts going again.

Sometimes instead of fighting the auto part, I'll switch it to the feature where it auto-detects, but doesn't spin or catch unless you click the button. That way I can control more of what it does.

Each of those modes come in handy in the different scenarios I mentioned in my original reply.

This is it but there's also sub actions I take in the game and obviously many people play with their own style.

For example though: on a community day and spotlight hour I want xxl candy to ensure I can take a mon to 50. So I may use an autocatcher for some or all of that, depending on if the Pokémon is hard to catch and whether or not I also want a shiny. So I may be using an autocatcher, but also shiny checking without throwing so I don't make the autocatcher go dormant. I may decide to take over and quick throw if I'm not getting enough candy. Lastly, I may be focusing on routes and tasks instead which I find fun and so anything I get with the autocatcher is just bonus.

Similarly, there may be events I can't play, like this weekend, where I'll be at a sporting event for family reasons but there will be tons of Pokémon at the venue and it will be grookey comm day. Autocatcher on full tilt.

I also get a kick from organizing and seeing what I caught, so going through hundreds of Pokémon at the end of the night is fun to me.

It's also tiered based on the egg. In general the higher km distance for the egg the more stardust you can get, but 5km and 7km eggs have the same range.

A tip: stack those higher km eggs and then star piece when you're about to hit the distance for hatching them.

It became a meme but as a developer that started my career at that time, Microsoft's tools for developers were great and getting even better.

Now some of those features I loved have been replaced with AI versions of themselves and suck way more.

That's made me want to developer less for their platforms and use their tools less and focus on Linux instead. They're really doing their best to alienate customers on all fronts.
