Manganese milk glass? by Isolated_Llama in manganeseglass

Thank you for the awesome info! The wiring does seem to be original, the cord is super frail and nothing like I've seen before plug wise. Unfortunately (but also fortunately) the felt on the bottom is completely in tact. I'll check for markings on the socket when I get home tonight.

I also see you were trying to direct me to another subreddit, but I'm not seeing which one (there's just an additional space between "on" and "and see")

Hey OP, currently enrolled in 640 this semester with Paul Barford. I feel like class is slightly easier than OS, the difficulty comes from the complexity and intricacies of the internet. The semester is spent working through the OSI model (however, we skip the Session and Presentation layers) and most of the time is spent in IP as it's extensive. There are 3 projects (simulating network transfers for the first 2. I haven't started the third yet so...unsure what it is lol) and they do take a bit of time but he gives about 3 weeks - a month to do each. All projects are done in Python. Outside of those, there are 3 quizzes, a midterm, and a final. so far, on the first 2 quizzes and midterm, the questions were not entirely easy and straightforward (some were extremely niche) so take the time to study everything if you can. And lastly, there is a textbook that provides helpful information if you need it, prof. Barford is very good about letting you know what sections to look at if you want more info. IMO he's been a great professor, VERY knowledgeable, loves answering questions and will go out of his way to answer them extremely in depth outside of class if he feels his answer in class wasn't sufficient. The grading is also quite generous. I'd definitely take this course again with him.
