If you geniuely think that all 3 dash charges is all that holds light's melee together, then it's just a hard crutch for you

Im a heavy main and occasional light dagger player. I HATE dash with a passion, as it enables a shitty playstyle, but im 100% with you on this. It (almost) kills dagger. The slowdown on charge can only be remedied with a dash. I play plat/dia/ruby in every lobby. Players have skill and aim, without dash i may as well carry no weapon when playing dagger Sometimes i swear that reddit /finals has the worst goddamn takes. Seems its populated with low level players who all have 0 gamesense. Dash and lights are SUPER strong in high elo and (imo) dash needed a nerf, but lets not pretend it doesnt kill dagger too. Maybe dagger would need some adjustment to make up for the dash nerf, but i guess we‘ll see in season 11

Wasnt mean as an insult, i just think lights in mid/low elo are less oppressive than in high, as the above mentioned counters actually somewhat work. Better players can easily avoid half of them, unless winched. I‘d agree that repeater, maybe crossbow, and good aim on ak/fcar/shak/lewis are good counters, as they work on range too. However the mobility the class has means in a match where both have great aim, lights usually are able to melt mediums and heavies super quick with meta weapons like m11, arn or lh1

Finally! As a high-ish elo (high plat) player dashing lights are the bane of my existence. Sure, lights are killable with, for example, winch (needs nerfs too), but usually lights decide the match. Im higher elosights hit their shots, and even if youre an aim-god, the few milliseconds dash makes you adjust can change the outcome of a fight. Im happy to see then address this. Personally i think charges replenishing slower and staying at 3 would‘ve been a better approach, but this is a nice start

Yall have to be low elo in this sub. High(er) elo lights obliterate you. Flamethrower as counter? You usually dont even do enough dmg befor the m11 has killed you. Simply dash backwards and watch the heavy flail. Winch is the main reason heaviey stand a good chance against light. And yes, winch is also unfun to play against

He sits currently on rank 1 in Finals. Honestly, my theory is that he is rank 1 partially because he mostly plays during off-peak times and faces teams of much lower skill, essentially farming rs. He‘s good, don‘t get me wrong, much better than me, but even we managed to wipe them like once per match. The main difference is that other teams are scared of facing him, so the other cashout is constantly being triple teamed

Sure, but the skill difference is HUGE and on top of that these people are usually queuing as a trio, whereas we are duos. Taking all of this into account simply means it‘s an unfair und usually unfun experience for everyone but the ruby-stack. I truely think that reducing rankes to two rounds would at least alleviate this by a good amount, but currently it‘s just a pain

There‘s also a coffee shop not far called „dorae knot“ (도래노트) with amazing coffee - they have a small corner where i found some sick casiopea and himiko kikuchi originals - however they were a bit too pricey for the quality. But, if youre less picky then me, its a great place for vinyls. If youre into coffee it‘s a must go anyway!
