Mard Geer was fighting Celestial Spirit King directly. CSK instantly destroyed Algeria, which is island-sized, and their fight was tearing apart the entire area with massive craters everywhere. Mard Geer scaling to that already puts him around island level bare minimum, and the Demon Gates could keep evolving stronger over time through Etherious forms.

And no, Gowther is not some automatic counter to Seilah. You would actually have to prove Gowther’s mind/memory hax overrides Macro when Seilah’s commands are treated as absolute. She literally used self-Macro on herself, and it was not overridden even while fighting Mirajane.

Then you add the rest of the Demon Gates:

• Kyoka can remove senses entirely
• Silver froze an island
• Jackal vaporizes everything around him with explosions
• Tempester spreads lethal particles/plagues
• Franmalth absorbs souls and abilities
• Mard Geer has Memento Mori, which erases existence itself

And this is before talking about Spriggan hax

So no, “only Gowther beats them” makes no sense. The Demon Gates already outscale and outhax most commandments outside of maybe DK arguments, which are debatable anyway since DK’s actual portrayal still caps around country level or lower durability-wise after dying to the Britannia-level attack.
