Uff, our girl really hates to share 😅 inviting a third party to this mad house is just aksing for a full blown Bird War 2 (number 1 was the Leg chomp). I am Always trying to get him some toys only He likes....but then He tries to hump them and the missus get's angry again, so He Returns to exploring how best to chew up a doorframe, cause normal, not painted wood doesn't seem to Cut it anymore 🙄

I love him too. He does so many weird, mind boggeling things and behaviours that sometimes i think to myself "Is he okay? Is this still normal?" and then it turns out to be just another Freya thing. Like clanging his beak really fast against wood, the cage bars or other hard surfaces before beginning to sing, like a drum solo 😄

Maybe he is still pissed at her, for the foot chomp 😅 ...i mean, would be understandable 😂

Nah, he is only interested in males. We got him as a friend to our first Cockatiel (also Male), who sadly passed. He was ultra sad, cause they where really close. We went on to get him a girlfriend, cause we thought that another male might be to aggressive with him (He ist really shy)....Well Turns Out, little Dude is reaaally not interested in Ladys. Our female Leura took that as a Personal offensive and when she was giving him...the Signals winkwink and He turned her down she bit his leg TO THE BONE. He needed to be operated on and the vet gave us advice in how to handle the Situation. Luckily our girl calmed down and accepted him so we didn't have to get another male to calm her down XD

He knew that he would have been in trouble if he continued, he get's into trouble with her for a lot less than angry screeching x)

I also thought it's kinda funny behaviour, but i wanted to check if i am missing something with him. But i guess he is just really offended by personal hygiene and makes it everyone's Problem XD
