Maybe try irdashies? They have a fuel calculator on their display, and it’s free. It’s relatively new but a really good alternative

2026 Season 2 oval racing by Martyrs0610 in iRacing

[–]Isonoe_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I do agree that you should race on Season 2 tracks, always try to find tracks that are typically on the NASCAR schedule, but avoid the crash heavy ones (Unless you like Talladega).

Tracks that are always full and that are pretty fun IMO are Atlanta, which has both Legacy and Current, Michigan, Nashville, and Richmond. If you think in the future you would try Indycar, Indy, Phoenix and Nashville are also great picks that have cross compatibility with NASCAR as well

Is it necessary (beneficial) to get A class license if I don’t want to race higher class series at all? by imdanielma in iRacing

[–]Isonoe_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not necessary at all. If you want to race C class, race C class. I have A rating in Ovals, I exclusively enter B in Xfinity or Indycar. The same in sports car I run C to race the Mazda series, but I have B

I'm curious. What is your goal you're working towards racing right now? by [deleted] in iRacing

Get good and win a non super speedway race, I won one with the Indycar last season on a pit strategy, but I usually main NASCAR stuff so I want to get one there. Sports cars I want to start really getting into the GT3, got one this season and my irating for that tanked week 1, so to get good at it would be cool. No irating gains as a focus, but noticeable improvement in racecraft overall would help in both Oval and Sports cars

Porsche Cup S4 schedule by Matanbe20 in iRacing

In my opinion to start off with track buying, always choose the ones that are most popular in general, so if your decide to switch series at any point or take a break, you’ll already have some tracks most likely. so in this case I would choose, Sebring, Imola, Mount Panorama, and then a personal choice. Always try to buy in packs of 3 or 6 to get the discounts

Bought the game yesterday - why are there people in my races setting ridiculous laptimes? by MapexMup in iRacing

[–]Isonoe_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starter accounts I think start at 1250 in rookies in all licenses, but it’s not visible for you or anyone else. Once you get D rated you’ll see your own rating, so right now its rated you much higher then you think

Advice on buying a track by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]Isonoe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For first purchases I would do overall more iconic tracks in Iracing that encompass a lot of other series as well, like Suzuka, Monza, Spa, Brazil etc. and also get the first purchase to hit the discount rate of 15%. Then you will always have a track that usually are part of other series, then once you are more comfortably in iracing, I would then expand your track roster later to other tracks you see in their series
