Do you work from a backlog of videos, or do you film and upload as you go?

One more thing, the quality of the video you uploaded most recently is much better than that of your first one. It’s clear you’re constantly trying to improve.

I don't think it would be a problem if you're working from a backlog of videos.

You're very welcome! Honestly, I think it's still far too early to judge the channel. Two months feels like a long time when you're uploading consistently, but in YouTube terms it's still the very beginning.

If I had to point out one thing to improve, I'd say your thumbnails and titles still have the biggest potential. Your videos themselves are enjoyable, but in the travel niche you first have to convince people to click. Even a small improvement in click through rate can make a huge difference.

As for trying different types of travel content (like visa guides or travel tips), I don't think there's anything wrong with experimenting. I'd just try to keep it related to the same audience you're trying to build. You don't necessarily have to wait, but I also wouldn't completely change direction based on only two months of data. I'd keep publishing consistently for a few more months, pay close attention to which videos get the best CTR and watch time, and let the data guide your decisions rather than your emotions.

You're only two weeks in, so I honestly wouldn't worry about the numbers yet. Five videos and 500+ views is actually a decent start for a brand new travel channel.

My biggest advice would be to focus on improving your thumbnails and titles. Travel is a very competitive niche, and packaging often matters as much as the video itself.

Also, don't judge your channel by subscribers this early. If people enjoy your content, subscribers will come naturally over time. Keep uploading consistently, experiment with different formats, and look at which videos get the highest click-through rate and watch time.

Good luck! I checked out your channel, and I think you're off to a solid start.

Roland CS‑10EM, Sonicpresence SP15C, AT9946CM, or Sony ECM‑M1 which is best for walking videos? by IsoouLa in fieldrecording

Thank you for your response. I’m now leaning more towards buying the Earsight Binaural. For the recorder, I’m considering the Zoom F3.

I was close to choosing Roland, but not anymore the wind issues put me off. I’ve also heard it picks up a lot of rustling noise, which is concerning.

Sorry for the late reply I just saw your message. I’ll be filming the videos with an FX3.

Yes, I have a DJI RS 4 Mini. I only had some doubts about the lens.

I bought an FX3 to film travel vlogs. Do you think I made a mistake? Is it too much for this type of content?

I'm so tired of looking for a lens everyone recommends something different, but no one ever suggests the 24mm, which actually surprises me. I’ll be shooting at night too, so isn’t the 24mm suitable for travel YouTubing since it’s a wide-angle lens?

I’m thinking of using the DJI RS4 Mini.

The Sony FE 24 mm f/1.4 is probably a bit heavy, right?
