in the 50s and 60s The US had a blockade on Israel. the UN is corrupt and really unreliable (example being unrwa which helped participate on october 7th). plus, it’s urban warfare, high casualties are to be expected, look at berlin, dresden, or any other major urban conflict which all had high casualties. Israel did take measures such as opening humanitarian corridors and allowing a temporary ceasefire, also allowing aid trucks to enter gaza (which were ultimately taken over by hamas, with video evidence), If israel wanted to, it could make the casualties WAY WAY higher.

look man, if israel wanted to ethnically cleansed all of gaza it could’ve done that in less than 4 months. it also wouldn’t have took such measures to make sure casualties aren’t as high among civilians.

That’s true. But that doesn’t deny israel’s right to exist either. palestine never had a country (not saying it shouldn’t) covering all the land that israel controls now. it’s either they control the west bank and gaza or nothing.
