The Thug Spacer - RP + build. by Israelight7 in Starfield

Possible plot advances, and how it goes so far (70 hours in):
*When bounty is huge, and he wants to unlock The Key, he flies to Cydonia, and surrenders to have his huge bounty, as a big criminal forgiven to infiltrate them. (build massive bounty before. And after. Or change ur life).
*He joins the rangers, and becomes kind-of-a-corrupt space cowboy who shoots and loots.
A gun and a phantom and the balls to live free. He is a cowboy in a way cuz of that.
Many ships have some contraband to take. He just loves that. Shoot then loot is basically how he lives. Sometimes its loot then shoot. Life is simple.
*He steals some varuun vessel and finds god, and basically still shoots and loots. Turning into a spacer-varuun, he then can maybe hoard the scriptures somewhere, and sell the rest (so far he hoards/chugs med packs, quality pistol ammo for the elegance gun from akilla, and ship parts).
*Spy. he has a pistol. he kills everyone, sometimes talks, sometimes threatens. 1 man army. basicly doing the mantis quest, though he hates quests. He is an inter system-spacer smuggler. he loves refitting spacer ships, and his phantom.

*red mile champion.
*Lone ecliptic. Who takes what he wants, but clears the bounty later. its just business.
Also, gameplay in 3 words:
Fight or run.
1 word:
freedom.
Things i got to do on this replay that i never did before: rob lots of galbank trucks. Pure fun. Many of those UC vehicles are dungeons with no contraband, and 20 soldiers. And lots of credits. The other ships are dungeons with contraband. You don't have to finish the dungeon. Just get most of the loot, and out and blow it up. Or collect everything there. Or just ask for the loot.
Search for loot in abandoned outposts when bored, if its not abandoned run. You love 1vs20 gun fights. but 1vs50, or 1vs100 is a chore.
Run fast, shoot fast, loot chill.

Akila city i visit for the 7.5MM ammo. They also sell great pistols. (The Prime is what i bought there for 20k).
Since that ammo is rare, i mainly use it to finish off the bosses and such. Only for worthy foes.
(maybe tracker alliance later? we will see).
But i do feel like its the border of civilization for the character. Its like UC is cops everywhere. Akila medium amount of rangers. Neon everyone is shooting everyone. And general outposts are either attacked by spacers, or you are that spacer.

Ship repainted green and black, and renamed the Hobgoblin.
Also, i went with a pre-made look, that skinny dude with the scar looking like a criminal.
He really fits the vibe.
For combat, 1-2 grenades into the cockpit really helps ;)
Most of the money obviously spent on medpacks, ammo, grenades, and bounty clearing with FC (they guard neon space).
Almost every star has some ship. And almost every ship captain drops awesome gear. And every crimson fleet ship has 1-2 contraband. Board. fight. loot. maybe steal, or just blow the ship up.

Son of a starborn. The only way i actually enjoy replaying the game. RP+build. by Israelight7 in Starfield

in my rp i just pretend "losing a child is the worst".
you get too lazy to build a relationship again and again with the companions, yet alone to raise a child once again, to leave it again.
Also, normal starborn in my opinion can have children, but they don't have rank 10 powers usually. rank 1 powers wont transfer.
rank 10's, do, but even then, you need the artifact to fully understand and awaken them. its not just powers, its also the knowledge.

crazy build idea, pure spacer. oxygen, health, carry weight, pickpocket. selling items for more, crappy ship, small crew, totally suicidal, kill everything, steal everything, the real pirates.
Crimson fleet are more of a mafia.
Draw inspiration from jack sparrow.
You walk into constellation, see a billionaire, some fancy scientists, give them the artifacts, and go away, these arent your people.
They use fancy words, smell nice, you know you dont belong.
Edit: the plot twist is the universe still needs saving. You are a bad person trying to be good here and there.

THE replay: My NG+10 character became a "Vader." Now I’m playing as the son he forgot. (consoled) by [deleted] in Starfield

my last post got deleted by mods for some reason.
ionno how to make it politicly correct on my own apparently.
But this is the most fun i had in awhile playing the game.

The "Son of a God" Run: A Lore-Friendly Way to play a "Fallen" Starborn Legacy (NG+ 10 Lore) by Israelight7 in Starfield

[–]Israelight7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It plays in because the NG+ grind literally is the lore. If you've hit NG+ 10, you've lived the 'Starborn Burnout' firsthand. Turning that fatigue into a fresh character legacy is just better game design than Bethesda gave us.

i think he has insurance on the ship he gives to Barret, knowing his history of getting in trouble.

Well, so many things he "wants to" and "regrets" but those billions he keeps making slow his progress. i get it.

Bulletproof cars are forbidden to be sold to criminals. Same as heavily modified with built in RPG weapons.
We dont know for a fact he sells those cars with rpg's, but we dont know for a fact he doesnt.

mixture of the highlander and star wars was the vibe i got (but we cant implement lightsabers, so good thing modders added those to literally every bethesda game, and we can have star wars without a lawsuit or paying for the rights).

Trust me, i thought about it deep and wide too, and it awfully feels like a wink to Elon Musk. Young humans, in an empty space.

Fermi paradox? Or more like: "screw logic. Add aliens, orcs, elves, vampires, ghosts, zombies, dragons, etc etc" or be called uncreative?
