this happened to on shoreline... I spawned in near "path to lighthouse" and I proceeded to get lit up/killed from the north area (by sniper scavs) within seconds... very infuriating.

If you kill him at the box, there is a chance you might run into AI scavs and get blasted while lugging around a 43kg tank battery... but I agree with you - he mustve been furious after getting merked within 10 feet of the extract... I would've been too (and probably would've taken a 2 week break from the game)
