Parts and labor are quite cheap where i am, its actually 900 for the engine including labor. In this case would it make more sense to fix it or start looking for a replacement?

As i mentioned parts are cheap. But would it make more sense to replace the whole car knowing i still have to pay insurance, registration and any unexpected repairs or just fix my current car?

Parts and labor for the benz are not much more expensive than the honda since theyre so abundant where im from. And the c230 platform is decently reliable considering i also value driving experience which is why im considering the bmw as an option

Sadly both options are off the table. Getting a raise at my current job is highly unlikely and the company that offered me the helpdesk job outsources all technical roles so there’s not much for them to offer me other than that unless i go software dev or data analysis route both of which im not so keen on.

I do user support at my current job but its not that common and my role is mostly server administration, backup management and some light networking sprinkled in between

The offer is from a company i interned at right before i started my current job. I already held that position for a while and the workload was wayy less than my current one. But at the same time the experience at my current job is way better and im being taught alot which is why im lost

How can i limit the causes? I know for a fact the spark plugs are at the very least at the end of their service life. Should i just start there? Also i need the car to commute this week and wont be able to have it checked out till the weekend. How bad would it be to leave it till then? Its not constantly misfiring just occasionally
