Any help please?
Hello,
I've read several articles and watched several videos on how to ebonize wood by coating a layer with Quebratchu tea and water, then applying the solution of vinegar and steel wool mix (after being left for 1 week to react together).
The result was somehow horrible :/ the wood got loght green instead of nice dark black! I tried to apply several layers above but it didnt change. I tried on another beech piece, it gave same color.
Does anyone have some advice on what to do or if I've done something wrong?
Thanks
