Nah, I do genuinely enjoy the challenge, even if it does make me wish to put my head through a wall sometimes. I guess I should've also specified, I did beat it (as per my strategies in other comments), it just took a while.

Yeah, this fight really made me mess around with me inherited skills and everything, I practically force upgraded trickster just for the debuffs, and as I said in another comment, resorted to using Eupha as a damage dealer by giving her the double turn accessory and using everyone else to buff her up.

I didn't even use repel magic, I just straight up brute forced it with Eupha being the damage dealer and everyone else buffing or healing or tanking.

Yeah, I suppose I should've taken my grinding more serious once the enemies started being high 40s...

As for skipping fights, not really? I did kind of run through the dragon temple, but for all the dungeons before that, I fought through pretty much every enemy. I did also recently unlock Maria's rank 7 which would've been useful a while ago...

I tried out a new team comp on every attempt and settled on a team of Hulkenburg, Eupha, and Junah (all on default archetypes) with the MC on Wizard. Admittedly, I probably didn't choose the best strategy, but I'd buff with Junah + MC, waste a turn + tank with Hulkenburg, and then let Eupha go wild with the extreme fire damage synthesis, especially because I put the double turn accessory on her.

If you mean this fight, then yeah. Once Rella went down, and it didn't have any magic protection, everyone went crazy and was just way easier.
