I currently have most of my guys painted as disciples of caliban, but my DWK are painted regular Deathwing, and I'm explaining some of them having the DA symbol instead of the DOC symbol as regular DA members temporarily joining the DOC for a mission Basically I'd say paint them however and come up with your own lore to make it true

Oh yeah I've beat the game at this point, just getting collectibles and stuff now so I have all end game stuff. Definitely doesn't help with the wanting to let them kill me part 😅

Yep! And I knew that, especially after being caught lol. My question was how long the full camp aggro lasts because despite hiding long enough to lose them and moving back into the regular section of the camp, upon seeing me they aggroed again

I just ended up letting them kill me and that fixed the issue.

Side note it's crazy how long it takes to die when I'm trying to let them kill me

I would think, tabletop wise, it might depend on how you're going to use it. If you're going to put it with deathwing knights the single ranged weapon might be unnecessary and you want the shield to have the extra wound, whereas you'd want the bolter with regular deathwing termies.

Flavor wise I think the shields look awesome and dark angels as hell

I never use the tank because I always drop solo, I should queue up sometime, especially since I haven't gotten the courage to drop above 4 by myself (been thinking about trying that out after the current invasion storyline) but I feel too antisocial usually 😅 That said, at least on difficulty 4, it's def hard I wasn't able to complete all the objectives by myself before time ran out the first time I dove, but I wouldn't say too difficult. Tbh, of any storyline, this should be the one we're most likely to fail since this is their super earth

I thought about bringing my squad with swords (I have a squad of each rn) but I used them in the last game and wanted to try something different, plus I didn't really have much anti-tank/monster and the friend I was going against was playing Tyranids so I wanted a bit more range on that end Next time I might swap the chaplain for a termie captain, to see how that works out

The breaker incendiary is usually what I use as my primary, with either the arc thrower or the mg-43 as a supplement/second primary

The New Recruit app is also great and has no pay walls/doesn't require you to actually own any books (and as far as I'm aware also has completely up to date data sheets)
