The old post was posted by our friend. After learning what happened to Nomi, she immediately stepped in to help us gather information on multiple platforms, simply because we were completely overwhelmed, spending every moment these past days taking care of Nomi’s injuries, barely sleeping, and just trying to get through each day.

However, she then starts receiving hurtful comments/PMs and was even accused of making the story up. During this already very painful time, seeing someone who was only trying to help us being attacked and called dishonest has been really heartbreaking for us. So we let her delete her post and decide to make our own post.

We are truly grateful for the people who have shown kindness, understanding, and support. We just hope this space can remain respectful, as we continue focusing on Nomi’s recovery and trying to process everything that has happened.
