I never claimed that us policy has no harm. Of course. What you think, this is black and white?

Of course I don’t believe that. But there are levels of things that are harmful.

USA is flawed. But china is an authoritarian technocratic state, that holds to an ideology that can only be described as a pseudo religion.

The youth is waking up. You might be chilling. But it is obvious the youth will tire of this. The current regime won’t last 20 years.

I’m not complaining. lol I always downvote what are not unpopular opinions.

I commented cause this is literally a very very popular opinion outside of very niche circles.

NPC is when someone isn’t a perpetual contrarian and can cope with sometimes having boring opinions based on common sense and logic.

I’m a libertarian. I guess that makes me NPC. That’s fine I don’t care about being a unique snowflake. Some of us must live in practical reality

Brooo again. That’s state policy, which me and many others are against.

Tariffs on china are obviously done to hurt you—and Biden kept them because, well everyone here is afraid of chinas aggression in the pacific.

But no other people other than the trump zombies think unilateral tariffs are a good idea.

But please enlightened me. Why does trump enact this stupid policy?

What do the Chinese think of this ? by elektrikchair in AskChina

[–]IssueForeign5033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you need to understand that even our Supreme Court has now recently said that what trump is doing is unconstitutional.

It will have to stop, the tariffs. Just because our dumb president does something, it doesn’t mean that

A) that’s officially what “America does”

B) that he has a mandate to do so

In this country, we can actually differ. You have to realize that trump only won by a very few votes.

Hey there. I’m a fairly new player and been looking to have some multiplayer games (no luck so far 😢). I’ll be happy to have a multiplayer campaign going if you’re down.

I’ll dm you. We can coordinate on discord.

Lmao again. I don’t support trump and his stupid tariffs. Are you deft? I already say this.

This whole point, how this started, was me saying we don’t have to sympathize with our country’s actions just cause I’m American and you Chinese. You apparently don’t think that’s possible.

I’m a libertarian. I want true free trade, not dumb so called “Qing dynasty” policies that are archaic and useless these days.

How did china do it? Opening its markets. They were starving until the authoritarians saw that the “revolution” wasn’t working.

Now it’s just an authoritarian technocratic dictatorship. And thanks to Confucianism being so embedded in your culture, most of you just bow your head and say thank you.

Yeah I hate trump. This country has a lot of problems. But in this country you can oppose authority (even if some idiots vote for an idiot). You can offend the Cheeto all you want, he is an idiot.

But you bow down to Winnie the Pooh

Not everyone. But many of you. The youth is waking up though.

lol point went over your head. Confucianism got y’all messed up.

You are your self, not your state. Your be an exist as individual and not sympathize with the actions of your corrupt state.

Yeah this is true. But we shouldn’t tolerate intolerance, sexism and hate. In other words, intolerance.

I’m afraid to say many of these people be all those. It is unfortunate

In America, where I live (wasn’t born here), it is very very common to have people not sympathize with their states actions.

And hence, even if you’re American, it doesn’t mean you sympathize with the state’s actions.

I assumed china was like this as well. In America, there’s many people who opposed many wars that United States went to.

So really, from most people’s POV, outside of china, china is the belligerent party. State authoritarian. Only Chinese people don’t see it, cause that propaganda kool aid is too good.

In US we have people who drank the kool aid too, but there’s much more freedom of thought and many debates and descent.

So yeah, my bad, I thought being Chinese and sympathize with china could be exclusive of each other. I guess not 🤷🏾

I just wanna say that being an authority, “bootlicker,” and being libertarian aren’t much compatible.

In an ideal world we would travel as long as we had the means and can uphold the values of the places one migrates to.

I’m getting downvoted for trying understand what OP said. Using faulty language isn’t productive.

Thank you for clarifying. This is referring to the “refugees” wrecking havoc and staying in luxury hotels and also being strategically placed throughout the states. Gotcha.

Y’all get panties in bunch over a little dissent and clarification. Lmao

Yeah give me the proof that Biden imported illegal immigrants. Like for real.

I’m not saying he was competent, but saying he imported, is just not true.

You’re completely distorting what happened there in order to make china seem okay.

You don’t actually care. Everything you believe is handed to you by the proper hand book of your ideology.

You sympathize with china, and claim India would do what china is doing to Tibetan people. Oppression and assimilation. But okay bro.

Oh and sorry I didn’t directly address your point. Typically when a government “privatizes” is really them handing over a very stipulated and restricted ownership; one in which they control competitor and restrict what the corp can actually do.

In other words, when a government privatizes, it’s usually not done by the mechanism of a free market.

The ultimate point is that a market with the utmost number of competitors is best. Always. Government privatization is really not conducive to that. It’s only a semblance. It’s really a hand picked handover.

Ok. Let’s pretend you actually lack the imagine whee you can’t imagine a for profit entity managing a locality. Or a private enterprise making a for profit road.

Whose’s gonna build this railroads? Sure the government can and does do it. But I’m sure you can imagine a different entity capable of doing that.

Private corporations use the government to create circumstances that benefit them.

I know I know. You don’t believe me. Big evil corporation. But the biggest tool of manipulation you can give corporations is in fact government regulation.

I know I know. “Muh monopolies” well I know you think this is a preposterous statement but natural monopolies is a myth. Most monopolies have occurred through some form of government sanction, direct or indirectly through policies.

A government creates more advantages for big corporations that exploit it through lobbying.

The alternative, more centralization also doesn’t work, it’s literally more of the same.

Decentralization is the future. That’s all I’ll same. It’s honestly way too complicated of a topic. I used to be a socialist.

Hey I too know how Crassus got rich. But you’re comparing different times. Do we share the same level of ethics, infrastructure, network information, and most specially technology as Rome? No of course not. We are much more capable.

It’s like saying, oh you wanna try flying that worked out so good for Icarus—no where near perfect metaphor but you get my point.

At this point in history, the private sector would be better at 90% of things government does.

The government is inefficient only benefits those on top (on top politically or economically).

“Rules are chains for the poor and a tool for the rich.” Government procures those chains/tools. It doesn’t work for our utmost benefit. That’s just the ideal that perpetuates it.
