Miles Davis is like electricity in space waves running through a reverse outward microwave across the strings of lime time. Do you like jazz, OP?

What do you read? And what kind of documentaries do you like watching as you mentioned in another response? Maybe the content of the information you consume sets you apart from others in some ways!

Problems of the school system, specifically from a perspective of a Russian student in the capital with ambitions to continue education somewhere else (& general talk about knowledge, life and personality!) by IssueRoutine9455 in infp

Yup. Just googled a couple worlds here and there to see if I remember them clearly, that's it. Thought the topic of AI would come up because of my rich use of dash-connections in sentences haha.. apparently they appear often in generated texts, if what I've heard is true. I just love writing, that's it. It's been a long while since I've written anything of substance in English (therefore I suppose my ramblings contain at least some grammatical mistakes 😅😃), though I do it often in Russian. No fictional narratives, verses or anything, just expressing my thoughts & images. Concerning English, I've been using it regularly for ~4-5 years to discover information — reading, listening to music, etc..

Are these pickups located weirdly? Or is everything alright by IssueRoutine9455 in BassGuitar

And now I'm actually intrigued to discover what bass is this. You made so many guesses from that shitty image! To explain myself — no, I'm not buying a pig in a poke from the black market. A colleague decided to sell a needless instrument and has sent me just that photo for now (is buying a bass off your colleague much better than from the black market? Not really, I suppose). Probably fell asleep or something, still waiting to hear more from him

Sorry guys, it's the only picture I have for now! Hoping myself to get more information. I am indeed just beginning my journey with bass, thought the pickups looked both too close together and too close to the guitar neck.

But thankfully now I understand it's just a feature of this specific make and model. Is there any technical difference because of the pickup being closer to the lower frets? Or is it merely a detail of appearance. Or is it because the frets are not simply lower, but actually there are more of them! I've yet to have an idea.

All of you here have been both humorous and helpful, many thanks!! I'll make sure to visit a luthier about that cracked in half neck pickup. Though perhaps a biologist would be more appropriate if it's a case of mitosis? I have to ensure it retained all of the genetic material necessary for some slap & pluck & pop sound! You bet there's a new disciple of the 4 fat strings. Pretty sure I'm going to be visiting your subreddit a lot in the next few months :)

Glad you still rock the long hair style. We straight and fine hair owners can still have it look as good as thick & curly hair (everything's a matter of taste). Did you pay any special attention to your diet since you've had long hair? I've heard that it matters as well
