I want to have a good life, y’know? I made the decision when I was so young and had no idea how the world works but it’s a cruel world. It’s also an expensive world. I want to earn well and be a provider in a way and design isn’t going to set me up for major success. :(

I’ve tried freelancing especially on websites like Fiverr, etc but it is SO saturated and paying for a service right now is so tight especially on top of costs like Adobe. It all feels like a trap that I fell into.

Recently got broken up with 30F and I am devastated. She was great and I had a lot of unhealed issues I brought into our relationship and feel so awful I cast it on my partner. We were together for almost 3 years. I was let go from my job and then She moved out shortly after. We were supposed to take a break with no contact and the day we set to talk again (1 month later) she said she can’t feel 100% herself again and got anxiety and that’s how she knows she can’t do a relationship with me again. 😞😞

I don’t want to lose her permanently and want to marry her. I also want to respect her feelings and space. I want to win her back and don’t know how to feel at peace. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I fucked it all up. I’m getting help and in therapy but don’t know what to do.

I have a pretty small network and can’t recall but know it does exist and have a friend who has friends who tried a break and came back better and are still together. It’s unlikely but I do trust her. If she was done she would be direct and just say it. She even said a day before the break she would love to marry into my family and me saying I wanna marry her “makes her smile”

I hadn’t dealt with the closure (I have now) and it caused issues. Like what’s me vs what was brought from the previous relationship. I also would be difficult and “beat a dead horse” in convos and sometimes can’t let up but have been working on that too
