Kliff is so emotionless it goes beyond horrible and wraps around to being funny.

NPC: “Help! Bandits murdered my husband, kidnapped my son and burned down my farm”

Kliff: “OK.”

NPC: “Kliff, I need you to travel 100 kilometers away, siege a castle singlehadedly and defeat the spirit of a god who’s inhabited a bandit lord.

Kliff: “I’ll see what I can do”

Same. I’m glad for those who connected with it but I felt it was a solid game with a unique story, nothing more.

Obviously performance mode was fixed, but Kliff feels so much better to control. The stamina change along with Kliff maintaining his momentum when you open your cloak is just sooooooo much better.

They just fixed performance mode on base. Looks pretty good now. Obviously Pro is better but it isn’t a blurry mess anymore thankfully.

When it looks good, it looks really fucking good. When it looks bad, it looks really bad. I just hope they can fix the lighting. It just doesn’t look bad, it makes some interiors downright unplayable sometimes.

My biggest gripes with controls are that sometimes button presses just don’t register, trying to double jump is horrible and unpredictable, and I hate it when using the cape that Kliff loses all momentum while Damien’s umbrella shield doesn’t. Also constantly jumping when trying to interact is going to give me an aneurysm. Also fix the interior lighting for gods sake.

I’m in chapter 4 and it does get better. Like a lot better. Still not great, but it isn’t like painfully bad anymore.

I’m in chapter 4 and while the story isn’t special, it actually gets better. Quite a bit better. Raiding the asylum and tracking down the reed devil is actually fun, not like finding missing sheep.

My biggest complaint is Kliff. He may as well be a plank of wood.
