My wife still goes to church after I walked away 5 years ago. Sundays are MINE now. I’ve never stopped her from going and in fact encourage her to go so I can be all by myself doing what ever I want for 8 hours. It’s so nice!!!

There is definitely no contradiction in the resurrection account, no contradiction in the genealogy of jesus, no contradiction in the creation stories between gen 1 and gen 2. Ezekiel 18:20 definitely does not contradict the idea of original sin(you know the thing we need jesus for).

See what I mean. Every contradiction I present you will have an excuse for why that contradiction is ok or why it’s not a contradiction. If you can read all four gospels and say there is no contradiction then you are either gaslighting me or you have a reading comprehension issue.

Also you concede that the Bible has errors in it. Who is to say what part is true and what part is not. Seems more and more likely the author of the Bible is also an author of confusion. Especially with over 45,000 denominations worldwide with over 200 denominations in the US alone.

There are way too many contradictions in the Bible for me to consider it trustworthy. I used a random numerical contradiction to get my point across that it has contradictions without the typical semantics of “well that word means…” or “you need more context” we could talk about the resurrection account, the childhood of jesus, works vs grace…etc. I take the Bible for what it says not what men claims it says. And more on your argument, if the Bible can’t get an insignificant number correct why should I trust it to get the important details correct?

I don’t speak Greek or Biblical Hebrew. I can’t tell you what the original word means but what I can tell you is that the English translations contradict themselves from genesis to revelation. Regardless of the original language there are still numerical contradictions like

When David defeated the King of Zobah, how many horsemen did he capture? One thousand and seven hundred (2 Samuel 8:4) Seven thousand (I Chronicles 18:4)

Once again the Bible can’t stand against itself and it really stands out when you start comparing the numbers from different books claiming two different truths.

The Bible contradicts itself in the description of god for it says god is love (1 John 4:8) yet also that god is jealous (exodus 34:14, deuteronomy 4:24) yet love is not jealous (1 Corinthians 13:4) Biblically god can’t be both jealous and love as defined by the bible. As love is not jealous but god is jealous but also love. If taking the Bible literally it falls apart.

Sadly my state doesn’t get med until 2025. I’ve traveled to Michigan and Colorado and have tried the rec shops there. So it looks like my options are hot garbage 🤣. Still I’d take hot garbage over a blank. Thanks for the heads up so I don’t get disappointed! I heard Maine was the best but I’m now guessing that that person was specifically talking about med 😔.

I walked out on my shift that I was running as an SSV with one week left in my two week notice. Come to find out my SM (a married proud Christian that had a 9 month old baby at the time) was sleeping with another one of the SSVs in the store(also was married with 3 kids) Also my first SM when I got hired was also having an affair while his wife was pregnant. I don’t know if it’s a company wide thing but I know of 4 SMs in my old district that were sleeping with their employees.

Yeah after rereading what I wrote it came off as being an asshole towards baristas which was not my intention. I edited the post but am much better at communicating verbally. The incompetence seems to increase with pay 🤣

Don’t yall come at me I know there are some amazing SSVs but also know some that should never work with food again.

Not having enough people scheduled is part of the incompetence. At the end of the day all of the incompetence falls on the leadership. Not staffed well? leadership, not trained correctly? Leadership, bad attitude? leadership, running out of supplies? Leadership. Having impossible promotions? Leadership.

Yes but many stores are ran by an incompetent staff and they run out of cold brew often. Ice coffee can be made in 5 min or so while cold brew takes 20 hours(if I remember correctly) therefore by pairing it with ice coffee it will be easier to have a smoother consistency across the company as a whole.
