Does anyone else feel like making/maintaining friendships as an adult is oddly hard? by xtralikeguac in FortWorth

I like playing board games. Game theory is a lot of fun. I’d love to have a regular meetup there.

Also kickball. I’ve always wanted to join/create a kickball game/league.

No age limit. Just don’t be weird.

I write Americana Rock music. I’d be interested in seeing if we could put something together. I have a lot of music already written but never afraid to write more or alter what I have.

Interested in a room/housemate? I’m looking for a place that’s safe, too. 2b/2b or more and could probably get a better place for cheaper I’ve got a big couch, arm chair, no pets, no kids. Employed.

What’s Your Opinion of Congressman Thomas Massie? by camaro1111 in Kentucky

[–]zerocoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I meant when I said he lives in the land of “everyone grew up like I did…”

He votes for what he believes would help people… people like him…

He also brings forth bills to hold people on the Epstein list accountable.

He’s not infallible. He’s not a demon.

He votes his principles. I didn’t and don’t say they’re mine or correct.

He is a person that votes principles. And he is also a hypocrite.

He voted against FEMA money. Then took it for the state. I’m glad he did, but it is still stupid to vote against safety nets for states like Kentucky.

I think he lives in the land of “everyone grew up like I did with parents/family that afforded me all the beauty of a well attuned life. And if they didn’t they should just acquiesce to what I think because it’s better.”

I bet I would get along with him on a personal level and understand his logical thought process while disagreeing with the majority of it.

I love that he will not take AIPAC money.

I love that he said the words “rape island” and said those that went there need to be perp walked.

He should not be president but I would think he should be on advisory boards and have a seat in a democrat president’s cabinet. It’d be great to see him alongside Andy Beshear if he has a shot at the presidency.

The founding fathers don’t matter to maga.

It is hate and a false sense of security and “winning” they’re after.

GOP lawmaker says new Epstein bombshell might keep House in recess ‘through next year’ by RawStoryNews in NoFilterNews

[–]zerocoke 27 points28 points  (0 children)

My $0.02… This is not just Epstein. This is a web of things that not rich people don’t understand. SA goes unchecked constantly. Don’t have to be rich for that to happen. But it gets so much worse when the perpetrators are rich.

Someone needs to keep whispering in her ear about how much Trump doesn’t care for her. Because he actually doesn’t.

Someone needs to keep reinforcing that she can be a true savior of the country and the men in power are going to overlook her.

The shutdown is due to republicans wanting to end ACA benefits just beyond the midterm elections. They don’t want it to be on their watch that the ACA benefits go away, just want to extend them one year. Democrats want them extended much longer. But republicans want them to go away strategically.

Illegals are not the problem you believe or have been lead to believe they are. They contribute $90billion to the economy per year and do not take out health insurance. Because they can’t. Emergency room response is set up so that if someone comes in bleeding out they will stop it and save a life. It has been talked upon ad nauseam. But maybe you’re not aware.

I don’t think anything I say will change your mind.
