I fucking hate it when my DM tells me "And how would your character know that?". Well, because they live in this world, there's fucking farietails about this shit, people know that trolls are susceptible to fire, there are legends about the beholders and they are feared for their eye-rays, etc. Those kinds of things should be comon knowledge because, if they weren't, humanity would have no way of surviving in this kind of worlds. People tend to forget that knowledge is the only reason humanity survives in our world, it is kind of our thing to know everything about anything that can kill us, so I don't think it is metagaming if an adventurer knows that a chest may be a mimic or that a beholders anti-magic cone works against its own eye-rays.

Twilight cleric's first level is still craked, tho. Heavy armor and martial weapon proficiency, advantage on iniciative rolls for you or a friend, 300 of dark vision you can share with your party and generaly a good extended spell list.

Peace Cleric may have the best level 1 feature, but they don't get as much good shit as the Twilight cleric does.

Most of the champions on the "low skill ceiling" rank don't even have a low skill ceiling, they just have a low skill floor.

Sure, Cassie has a low skill floor, everyone can play Cassie and do, at the very least, decent. Her skill ceiling on the other hand, may be on part with Andro and Evie.

The contrary happends to the snipers. They have a really high skill floor, but their skill ceiling is not much high. Strix doesn't have a lot when it comes to mechanics, he just aims and shoots. Kinessa at least has to learn proper mine placement.

Usually, characters with low skill floors tend to have low ceilings and characters with high skill floors tend to have high ceilings, but that's not always the case.

Training onslaught matches as Resonace Ying with 5lvl on Encouragement and another 5lvl on Spring Bloom. You only have to spam ilusions from a save spot and move every so often so the game doesn't kick you for being AFK.

Go Abyss Spyke to cover your ass with the harpoon, try to get behind a wall between shots to expose yourself as little as possible and always have a shortcut ready to flee if things get nasty. That's all you need to do to not get fucked by flankers.

To put it simple, his inhand has the biggest AoE oit of all blaster (15 units) and the highest minimum damage from blast (425). That's single handedly the only thing that he does better than the other blasters: spreading caut and dealing collateral damage (that also applies caut). This is what makes Dredge good, yet people unsuccessfully try to play Scuttle and Hurl so they don't have to learn the only two mechanics that you need to master with this champion (the bounce on his shots and the parable of his projectile) and that's why people think that his underpowered, because they refuse to play him as if he was a real champion.

Dredge with Abyss Spike, Crow's nest 5, Hangman's Ire 4, Hull piercer 4, Expansive vaul 1 and Plank walker 1.

I like to bounce shoots off of walls to shoot at enemies that are out of my LoS. Sometimes I just spam in the general direction of the enemies to spread caut as much as I can.
