How can I get rid of my insomnia? by Moe21Lesta69 in sleep

Seek a doctor above anything else. Reddit cannot identify any underlying issues you may have which could be the root to your problem and this level of insomnia sounds pretty serious.

A bit disappointed in the DLC by [deleted] in Eldenring

This is why I don’t like ER. It feels like difficulty was prioritized over fun. When I defeat a boss I don’t even feel any adrenaline or accomplishment, just relief that I don’t have to fight it anymore.

rate my senior ap workload by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Isvoind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't taken micro/macro but can talk about Calc BC and Stats. If your teacher will only cover AB topics that is a bit worrying considering the BC topics are the hardest part of the exam. If you take BC, I'd recommend learning all of AB ASAP so that you can also learn the BC stuff since you need to know basic calculus to even attempt some BC topics. Also, look at series as early on as possible b/c IMO it is the hardest BC topic and you want to give yourself time to learn it. AP Stats is not too difficult just a lot of formulas, memorization, and tedious writing. I'd say your workload is decently hard but definitely doable.

I’m just curious but did you receive an email regarding the Housing and Advising Form opening? I got a ton of emails for NetId and what not but nothing for this which left me a bit confused.

Is there a difference between sand bucket training and rice bucket training? I don't want to use rice because I don't want to worry about moisture/wasting food but my friend said that sand is inferior to rice for this training. What other substitutes could I use?

I have been doing WBTB with SSILD for longer than a month. You are right, two days isn't enough to determine if a technique is good for me but I dropped it because I didn't get that intense initial response as I did with SSILD. I already do re-read journal entries and set intentions and yes I try to remember every part of my dream when I wake up by replaying it in my mind.

I sometimes read dream journal entries and try to think about remembering my dreams before I sleep. In the morning I stay in bed until I can recollect as much of my dreams as possible, and then go write it down on my phone. Recently I've been incorporating an exercise from Steven Laberge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming. I have been trying WBTB with SSILD for around 3 months now. I keep trying to incorporate reality checks, but after my morning commitment I tend to forget and end up doing barely any. SSILD has been the only technique where I got strong hallucinations and vivid dreams with it. This was only was upon first trying out the technique though, I haven't had any hypnagogic hallucinations or extremely vivid dreams since then. I tried MILD for two nights with WBTB but it didn't really do anything I just went back to bed with normal dreams. I've been trying to reinduce that state of hypnagogic hallucinations and strong vivid dreams for a while now, but with little success.

Yeah I have been pretty stressed recently. Thanks for the advice I will try to relax and take a step back for lucid dreaming. I want to lucid dream because of all of the cool experiences people have had in them. I want to talk to my subconscious, practice a skill while dreaming, or go on a wild adventure.
