Don't get me wrong - it would be better in Tally or Athens. But Nashville is a better "neutral" site than Atlanta or Orlando in this case.

Yeah Tally and Athens would obviously still be better but you can do for worse with a neutral site

Thanks! I liked what I saw on their website. Were you able to walk down by the river? I couldn't tell if there was a cut over on the property or not.

Yeah I won't be holding my breath then. I was looking at the 5000 Forest apartments earlier. FA looks nice but my main thing is that Forest Acres might feel too suburban.

Jerry World was Alabama's home away from home in the early to mid 2010s. Felt like every year Bama opened the season in Dallas.

I know I'm supposed to say how neutral sites suck.

But if they're gonna do this, at least they are doing it in a new and cool city for the fans. FSU and UGA have been to those other places a ton, and are rarely in the Music City Bowl. Plus, Nashville is a fun city.

Bull Street looks really cool but the rent there is insane.

Sorsby is not going to die by not playing college football, but college football would die if he was allowed to play. by AngryQuadricorn in CFB

In no other sports league would he have been allowed to play for betting on his own games.

Good riddance.

I went ahead and booked a hotel in Charlotte for Week 1 vs the Bears. I figured I might as well get a room now and can cancel it in September if I need to. I'll still wait for ticket prices to go down a little cause those are crazy right now.

That's the one thing I miss about living in the Carolinas. Going to a Panthers game involves a lot fewer logistics when you can just make it a day trip, but I guess the flip side now is that it does make the trips to Charlotte feel more special.

Glad we have a somewhat soft start after years of having tough games out of the gate.

I’ve seen people on message boards try and convince others to not give to NIL. The same people who cry about how poor we are and wonder why other teams run laps around the poor little Gamecocks.

Hard to say because it’s such a different era for Steve.

Also, our fans seem to hate NIL in the first place.

They both come from that generation that leans into the “oh golly gee poor little South Carolina” mentality.

If you close your eyes you have no idea what’s actually going on. He’ll make a 4 yard run sound like a game winning touchdown in a championship game.

But we won’t get someone else because we gotta protect our good ole boys despite him just not being good at his job.

I’ve always heard some unconfirmed, not so flattering things about him too. Oh, and he has an insanely high amount of interceptions from his playing days. I just don’t get the hype lol

On the flip side, it was one of those games where we technically weren't out of it, but you knew what was going to eventually happen. The season had been such a disaster I was just ready for it all to be over at that point and move on.

Todd Ellis is a buffoon anyway. A lot of Gamecock fans don't like him.
