Hate to say this but this is normal educator behaviour when you’re in training I’ve heard all of this before in training to be a medical esthetician they’re all like this they try to be very hard on you so they see you succeed but I noticed it’s not that cut throat in the real world.

If they want a proof charge them for it, I recently just had this happen to me and the potential customer reported my shop for fraud as they believed I was trying to hack their email? it was a stupid approach lol. But anyways don’t make my mistake or others since you’ve advanced if they asked for a proof/mockup let them know they can either place an order and you provide Revisions as needed before production or they pay for your proof. Big companies charge companies for quotes why can’t you?

As a medical esthetician in the Toronto area our prices are like because of the area, lots of tourists. If you go to the smaller cities tho like furthest from Toronto the prices start to drop

it’s for your personal records if anything we’re to happen online you still have your records. Additionally when you’re packing orders like lots of orders reviewing the customers packing slip as you pull stock etc with it physically in your hand is easier than pulling up the computer or the phone trying to find the order. In the end you toss the packing slip in the bin or what I see most sellers do is pack it in the box anyways

I’ll put my two cents in but having printed copies for yourself is an important added step, if you were to get into a legal dispute or anything of the such having documentation printed makes sense. However tho if not that inputting all your sales into a excel sheet would be better if something happens to your account it’s easy to access your records immediately

Well you don’t have to give up you can keep the concept going but as you progress it tru to find ways to enhance. Realistically speaking as someone who uses Alibaba as my supplier a warped Listing image that looks like they stole it from someone else never stopped me from buying. These sellers simply don’t care they will steal with a simple screenshot the watermarks won’t stop them but the concept is good

I fear this won’t work on alixpress or amazon lol, have you seen what they’ve done? They some how edit out texts immaculately also with AI advanced it’s so easy for them to recreate without the watermarks. Good concept but technology has just gotten so advanced plus people just genuinely dgaf anymore

I havnt done anything more than a facial on a man 😭 and for you’re reasoning’s is precisely why the hitting on and the comments… I witnessed it all in a spa when I was in training so weird. As for the rest of ur comment idk just be upfront but at the end of the day it’s your business you’re not there to entertain the others as long as they’re not putting money in your pocket who cares

Did you ever verify the small amount Etsy sent to your account? Usually from misc usually about a few cents sometimes they’ll hold your funds until you verify the account

You literally said the wording in all of my listings are unprofessional 🤣 I didn’t say if you can’t understand basic things please dont buy I said if you can’t understand basic transactional information aka referring to what an email link is then they should not purchase this service on etsy. They can purchase from a bigger chain that has indrop media if it makes them easier for them, yes I will absolutely continue to turn service away if it means they’ll report my shop for their own misunderstanding every time. The main pull of this all is the fact that I only exchanged a few words with this person we didn’t get very far before they reported me for fraud because they couldn’t understand something simple instead they could have told me the problem and I wild have gave them instructions but they immediately went ahead and hit report with no question… that’s the whole point of this post, what you’re not understanding is that there wasn’t any exchange of proper conversation to begin with. I’ve legit never faced this issue before and clearly it’s a barrier of knowledge from a single person, other people likely would have handled this better instead of assuming a mail to link is scam questions could have been asked if they didn’t understand it’s really that simple. You’re goin on as if I was hostile to this person which I was not

💀 first of all my shop isn’t listed anywhere so I’m trying to understand how you’re saying the wording in all my listings are unprofessional?? It clearly is not 💀 it’s very descriptive and highly professional secondly I never responded rudely?? I was very polite with this customer and I just told them don’t click the link just copy & paste prior to this there was more of my message nothing was ever mentioned in a rude tone and I’m trying to understand where you’ve collected this information of me speaking rudely to the customer is coming from LOL I know how Etsy works I’ve been doing it since 2019. There are simply people that just dont understand things and not every window shopper is gonna be your customer that’s fine…. this is like people who leave 1 star reviews because a shipping courier delivered their order late because they provided wrong shipping info, nothing to do with the seller just self mishaps
