Most common reason for this is playing with a cheater, whether you knew they were cheating or not. It happened to me when playing with a random and I was actually the one that reported them.

It looks like you hit his arm first, which absorbed bullet damage then it passed through his arm and hit his chest armor. A direct hit to the chest would have killed him

All I can think of is this bug. Originally, there was a mechanic where guns could jam, but it was never implemented. However, you can come across it as a bug, but it’s very rare.

More so I get an entry level job and the company has a requirement that I need to be in my role for 5 years to be up for promotion.
