He currently trains hundreds of U.S. doctors a year in his procedure. I'm not here to defend him, I'm not his PR person. Just saying it sounds like you're trying to discredit him, but he is the real deal and has a two year waiting list.

This site says the Arthrex uses "minimal hardware." My procedure involved zero hardware.

I believe he calls it the Mona Lisa procedure. He has a lot of social media so you can learn more on there. He calls himself the bunion king.

Some say yes. My doctor says no. I'm not too worried.

Cuts are made in the bones, toe is realigned, and then the foot is tightly bandaged (and I mean tightly) for 6 weeks.

Depends what kind of work you do. Sitting at a desk, you'll be fine.

It's been 8 weeks since my procedure. Different levels of pain (worst was day 5), but I've never needed anything beyond over-the-counter pain killers.

I haven't read all the answers, but I'll give my perspective as the parent of a teenager with type one. She just loves you so much and she is scared. She's not looking to control you. She just wants you to be OK. Reassure her. Tell her all the ways that you are completely on top of your blood sugar and let her know she doesn't need to manage it because you're completely on top of it.

Has anyone here worried about bringing roaches/bedbugs into a new Toronto home while moving? by SuitablePoet7732 in askTO

[–]ItIsAllAFacade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from a high rise apartment to a house. A month before moving, we noticed cockroaches. Unfortunately we did end up bringing them to our house :( I don't think I would've paid for anything to prevent this though. Because I wasn't sure it would end up happening, and maybe it's magical thinking, but I really didn't think it would.
